MAB collected a paycheck. That was pathetic. His whole gameplan was to last. Now he can say he did better than Morales. Just retire.

There are some American commentators on the british feed, I don't know who they are, but they think barrera is ahead or it's a draw :D

I am pretty disappointed in Barrera.

This was an opportunity to prove himself a greater fighter than Morales, but it proved the contrary. At least Morales fucking went for it in the rematches with Pacman.

    Barrera was pathetic tonight.

Jake - in your estimation, approximately how much would Oscar have needed to pay the judge for him to have given Marco 5 rounds?

Hmm... Pacquiao's 144. Mayweather's next fight is at 145, and Mayweather's not a weight cutter. One's beating welterweights and light middleweights. The other's beating up an old jr. bantamweight. There's a HUGE difference between #1 and #2 in my pound-for-pound list.

Even though Pacman won easily I am dissapointed that he didn't KO Barrera. Now MAB will start saying he won and wants another rematch even though he stunk the whole place with his performance.

 ... nah, Marco was on the outs with GLH ever since the JMM fight. This was the last fight in his contract, and I'd like to think that Oscar was more than happy to let him go out like this (or simply with another loss)

Ummm....yeah, which is likely why he fought technically and tactically, which is what you've been criticizing him for all night.

It's like criticizing Lewis for fighting Tua conservatively....this from the very same people who put down Lewis for having supposedly a "glass chin." But they want him to brawl with Tua.

    Same scenario.

    Peace.

The translator had to have fucked up that last part. Did he just say (read: claim Marco said) that he was happy to BEGIN and end his career with Oscar?

MAB should be criticized for fighting as he did. he was giving away round after round instead of taking chances to win. That's garbage.

not really. Manny fought and sounded like a guy content to let the fight play out the way it did.

True, maybe I am being harsh on Manny. I thought he could have gone for it more and maybe taken MAB out, but I guess he was just playing it smart against a guy who came to survive.

    Barrera disgraced himself.

    Morales > Barrera.

SO do you agree with what I have been saying for months, that Manny's fire and desire for boxing has gone?

Morales at least made it exciting and showed guts. Barrera fought like a bitch tonight. Did not fight like a Mexican warrior who supposedly wanted this fight for so long.

Pac-Man would have stopped him if Marco would have taken more chances.

no way anybody can blame Pacquiao. Barrera fought like a bitch. Just like Roy on the last Tarver fight. Happy not to get KO'd.

Pacquiao won because he was busier and pressed the action. But on the hard exchanges they were about equal. Barrera showed he had enough to risk more.

For his goodbye fight it was a let down.

I once critized MOrales the way he fought Manny on the last fight. But looking back I can respect that more. At least it was more exciting while it lasted.
