Clottey was a bad matchup from the start...but IMO Cotto look slow asss hell in there. Everything was slow..the only thing coming out fast was the jab.....HE better stop getting tats and go get a real trainer...

Clottey: I fought my ass out...

WHAT????? BULLSHIT...if Cotto wanted to stop the fight..he could had it stop at any time.......He was fighting like a lil beast early in the fight..he wanted TO KO CLOTTEY.....it was at around round 6-7 that Clottey started to really bring it....and Cotto took it and gave some back...

WTF is Kellerman bitching about a bad decision based solely on one scorecard? That happens everyday in boxing.

He doesn't agree w/ the DECISION....he is doesn't ONE scorecard....he probably had Cotto winning by 1pt....

but 116-111??? Even u can't say that shit is fair...

Round 4 he fought hard to win the round and then started acting like he could not see. He kept pawing at his eye trying to draw attention to it or, to make it bleed more. He did that for a couple round until he knew that Clottey had caught up in points and then started fighting again.

He can't come out and say it, he has to make someone else, and nobody was saying it.

I am actually surprised his corner did not try to have the fight stopped after the 4th. He is lucky to come away with the w in the fight.

Hey, how many times have you seen a razor sharp win where one of the stupid judges did not gave more than one round to the other boxer? It hapens all the time. There are many Magoos out there.

Call it premature but I think Cotto has slipped. Even prior to the cut, he didnt look as sharp as he did pre-Margarito.

He better go jump on Berto or something, cause if rematches Shane... I'm almost positive he gets stopped.

Im sure he wasnt acting. Im sure that Cotto couldnt see shit. But everytime the doctor asked him if he could see in the corner, could would say yes. I heard the doctor ask him at least three times with a yes a response from cotto. The only time Cotto didnt say yes was later in the fight, where cotto's response was "a little"

Maybe. But I think even pre-Margarito Cotto has big problems with Clottey. I think it had more to do with Clottey's speed and skills.

    Pacquiao beats Cotto, though.

I heard that but there is no way that he would live down saying yes. You know that. Cotto was touching his eye way too much. It was a bad cut though and I am not saying he did not win, but to me it looked like he wanted them to stop it. I don't think he was comfortable until Clottey hurt his knee and even then was not that comfortable. I could be wrong though and won't really argue with someone if they think different. It's just what it looked like to me.

Yup, agreed. Size be damned! Manny is too quick, and Cotto is almost impossible to MISS with straight punches.

Happens all the time? Doesn't make it right. And doesn't make it unworthy of mentioning. There was at least one judge assigned to judge a championship fight who proved himself to be absolutely incompetent. You don't think that's noteworthy?

People are murdered all of the time. Does that mean we should just ignore it and not mention it? Or investigate it?

That judge should never work again.

What if instead of that incompetent and/or paid off judge had instead been a competent one who scored it 114/114? Or even for Clottey? The fight could've gone either way. But not with a judge as incompetent as Mr. 116/111. What Max should've done is pointed out over and over again the name of that judge and call for his license to be revoked. There's simply no way that fight could've been scored 116/111 - not by a competent judge and not by an objective one.

That was a crazy fight. Clottey could have done more to win like always.

24/7 looks like it is going to be great.

Cotto was also fighting with 1 eye most of the fight. That being said I dont think we will ever see the Mosley version of Cotto ever again. I think that was Cotto at his absolute peak. Maybe if he gets a real trainer but doubtful.

All he had to say was that he couldnt see. NOBODY would have questioned him. Especially with all that blood.

2,3,5,7,8,9 and 10. Also the fourth round was close (and not a big Cotto round as Lampley repeatedly claimed)

Like I said. Size wouldnt matter. Its about Manny's speed, and the fact that Cotto has all types of defensive holes that Manny would exploit. Not to mention, butt or no butt, Cotto's skin is becoming fragile. Manny can slice him up. Didnt you pick Hatton over Manny for the same reason, cause of size? Look what happened.

Stylewise Clottey would beat Manny, but not Cotto.

The choking puta Clottey doesnt DESERVE a big fight. At least Manny goes out there and does what he's suppose to do... fights, and kicks ass. Clottey fights in spurts, and chokes.

Puerto Ricans have soft shitty euro whitey skin that busts open at the seams, that's the trouble, too much basque genetics, not enough 'northern morrocon' arab.

both guys would beat pacquiao. hatton was never in the fight to even attempt to impose his size on pacquiao. pacquiao has shown he has pop at the higher weight but has yet to show me he can take what's coming back at him. he hasn't needed to so far, which is wonderful for him. eventually we'll see what he's made of at 140 and above when he starts facing guys who hit him back. I will say of the big 3 at welter, his best chance is vs cotto.
