For the record, Bernie Bahrmasel - publicist for 8 Count and handles local details when Top Rank and Golden Boy do shows in Chicago - predicted a draw well beforehand

116-113 is a little too wide. And that was the judge Lampley bitched about

I know Donny, I was messing with the board.

    I scored it a draw.

Eight rounds for Cotto is ridiculous.

    Cotto:

"I was a bit excited because of the moment and spent too much" *I think that what he said/wanted to say*
"I always throw my punches hard, when i see Shane keep coming, i say i'm not going to knock him out, so i start moving"

"I don't know who i wanna fight, i let my team decide"

"i'm available for all the big names in the business"

The sad thing is, Mayweather wouldn't fight Cotto.

Mosley is a cockstrong guy and handled Cotto's shots. I like how Steward just dissed Mayweather.

I had it 6-5-1 Cotto, but agree that it should've been a draw.

If Cintron gets past Williams in February, how would a Cotto-Cintron match go down in Puerto Rico??

All credit to Shane. Class act throughout. Miguel as well, though it's easier to exude class when you're the winner of a close fight. Shane could've easily bitched about the decision, but instead gave Cotto his full props. Good for him. :bears:

Geez- Shane couldve won that fight if he wouldve started off bouncing and stalking. He just never threw enough punches in combination...

Two weeks of grinding down the tubes......

If you think Cotto won eight rounds, I don't want to see your scorecard.

Ha, Lampley fucked up on both examples (best fights without a knockdown) - Bowe dropped Holy in the 11th round of their 1st fight, and Barrera scored the questionable knockdown in the last 30 or seconds of the 1st fight with Morales.

Agreed. I scored it a draw as well. Cotto is just lucky Shane is not the fighter he once was. Or else the fight would NOT have been close.

Cotto will cave in Cintron ribs...unless Cintron gets him with the right hand...like MOsley got Cotto a bunch of times tonight..and the son of bitch just kept eating them after a few rounds..like he didn't give a fuck......learn to block the right hand son of bitch!

    Ok, you're definitely upset.

    I had it 7-4-1, 116-113.

Had the 2nd even...Mosley landed those 2 hard rights in the last 1:00 but you can't ignore the fact that Cotto controlled it for the first 2:00.

    I gave Mosley the 7th.

    Cotto won the 11th.

    Mosley won the 12th.

    At best, it's 7-5, IMHO.

    Peace.
