    Shane is very strong.

Matter of fact, I think that was one of the biggest surprises of the night for Cotto.

And likely a key reason Cotto decided to box and counter over the last 4 rounds.

Shane was VERY physical in this fight.

    Peace.

Mayweather has huge problems with Hatton. Lets see how well he does with a guy all over his face from round 1

Well all I can say is that I saw two totally different fighters in the ring tonight.

Nope. Cotto backpedaled, but he won that round...by a narrower margin than the 11th, but he won it.

This is not the round where Cotto was supposedly hurt to the body (10th).

That's why I broke it down by time segments.

    Peace.

If Cotto is all these things, then why was he all over the place against Torres? Why was he going walkabout in the Mosley fight?? And running around ain't fighting.......

Running around? You should watch the fight again...*have you seen the fight* It's funny though because in round 6-7-8 when Mosley was bouncing around moving...trying to avoid contact..he was boxing...but when Cotto does it in round 9,10 and 12 he is RUNNING... Cotto won round 11 easy...easy...the same way Mosley won round 9 easy.. Cotto stayed away in round 12..that was his mistake...people were expecting the last round to be fireworks..but he decided to stay away....knowing he had WON enough rounds early...

again all this means NOTHING....cause in 1 month time...Hatton will be defeated with easy...by Mayweather...

I am willing to empty my online acct Dec.8. And I dont think anyone knows how much my online sports betting account means to me. I love it with all my heart. But sometimes I hate it too. But even when I hate it, I still love it.

Cotto slipped off the ropes at one point and positively ran into his own fucking corner towards the end of the round, I think the 11th. He backed up and backed up so fucking much I thought he was going to end up in Lampleys lap.

You see, there it is again, the weak point of Cotto is raised, and HATTON comes to mind. The fear is there, it is palpable and it is real. What nerve is this we have touched???

 You have the WORST scorecards when it comes to a fighter you like. Ridiculous in fact.

Cotto was well ahead of the fight by this point. Fight on the table?

You are just a ridiculous individual.

Cotto won EIGHT ROUNDS of that fight. Shane was holding and trying to survive through most of the early rounds and flicking out a hard shot here and there and missing most of the time doesn't win rounds.

    CLEAR win for Cotto.

Hey im not saying who would win. Im saying Cotto would give Mayweather problems. He doesn't fade late and is a very accurate puncher.

Agreed. Cotto has the boxing acumen (trademark Musze) to help him against PBF, plus intelligent aggression, plus the ability to box.

I think BOTH Cotto and Mosley pose alot of problems for Mayweather.

    Peace.

I'm thinking Cotto more than Mosley. (styles)

Though I had Mosley-Cotto a draw, I can't see Shane beating Floyd. Cotto, I think might have the style and youth to beat Floyd. It's a shame Arum never made the fight when he had Floyd, now it looks like it's too late.

I've just been watching Calzaghe Kessler again: I know Lampley got a lot of shit wrong in the Cotto fight and it seems he did likewise in the Cal-Kess fight- he said Calzaghe wore "Grant" gloves......he didn't. Calzaghe wore Lonsdale.

ILLUMINATI admits it was a very close fight, 7-5 type a fight. Anymore needed proof that a draw would've been more than perfectly fine? :nono:

Well i still have yet to hear anybody say that Shane won. Alot of people thought it could have been a draw and alot of people thought Cotto won. It was a fair decision.

I've heard a few. Obviously the minority but it was a really close fight that's what I'm saying. A draw or SD would've been a better result IMO.

Really? They went with the young star whose promoter is more than willing to match him with their fighters instead of old Mosley who probably just told them he's not fighting anymore? Shocking.

I saw the fight, but not the interviews afterward. What did Cotto and Shane have to say?

Cotto said he chose to coast because he felt he had the figth won, he also said he didn't know who he was gonna fight in the future and that it was his promoter's choice (surprise, surprise...). Shane was very gracious in defeat, a class act as usual, and hinted that he may retire... He didn't seem to eager to get a rematch.. Well, that's my interpretation. I didn't listen to the whole interview.
