He's not a prospect anymore, he's a world champ in his prime. You'd figure he could start giving his opinions by now.

Yeah, but he never will.

I truly think Cotto doesn't care and will literally fight whoever they put in front of him.

Judah and Mosley are a very respectable gauntlet.

But to your point, if he then starts consistently fighting sub-par opposition just because that's who they put in front of him - he should get the same flack as every other fighter.

    We'll see.

And btw....I don't understand all this "a draw is fair" stuff. And even less a Mosley win. :eeeek: What 7 rounds did Shane win?

It was a close but clear win for Cotto, period. Like Morales-Pacquiao I...it may have been close & competitive, but there was a CLEAR winner.

People who think this was a draw should have no problems thinking JMM-Pacquiao should have been a draw as a "fair verdict."

X accuses me of "Cotto cum drinking." It's no secret that I like Cotto, sure. It's also no secret that I like Mosley and have rarely picked against him.

What I AM guilty of is telling people that Cotto has more wrinkles to his game than he's given credit for by people who INSIST on depicting him as a "plodding pressure fighter with leaky defense."

I'm consistent with pointing out when a fighter has more skills than he's given credit for.

Personally and having rewatched it more than twice already, I can see 7-5, but really struggle with a draw.

I score it like I see it.

I am a huge fan of Penalosa....but he lost to De Leon.

    Peace.
