    Fuck Simms...

    Sore loser.

First he says he hurt his right hand, then he says he hurt his left hand but he's got "no excuses."

simms says he hurt his right hand in the 2nd round.
no excuses, but i hurt my hand..haha
at least none of the deductions mattered in the end...well, they could have, but it's not obvious they did.
alcine enters the champ rankings as one of the lesser champs in the sport, i'd say. good effort, but no power in this fight.
dzind would chew him up, i'd guess

Vic/Arce would still be a good fight, I still pic Arce. Nonito is all wrong for Vic. Also think Arce/Nonito would be a war, and I think thats a pickem fight.

Haha Alcine won :cheer: :cheer: , I quit after the 6th round, when I couldn´t take Showtime licking Simms balls anymore. Guy wasn´t throwing any punches, but they acted like he put on a clinic.

It´s funny how boxing sometimes works. They avoided each other, talked a lot and both ran into physical tall boxer-punchers, who beat the crap out of them. Brutal KO. Donaire impressed me. Turns out the dogs, who barked the loudest in the lower weight classes had the least bite.

Agreed. I thought wait a minute isn´t Shaw Vics promoter. Even DK takes a split second longer to abandon his fighters.

Shaw was smiling because he also promotes Donaire.

At least make sure Vic is okay before smiling and posing for pictures.

Vic was on his back with blood running out of his nose. Gary barely glanced down at the guy before smiling and posing with Donaire.

I haven't seen the fight yet, but that wouldn't surprise me from Shaw.

Still, I think he got about as much mileage out of Vic as he could, especially once Arce lost.

Donaire, on the other hand, could be a star.

Even thought I wasn't really paying attentino, it seems that Alcine won the fight pretty clearly, can't see how someone can score it for Simms. First time I've seen Simms fight and I was expecting so much more from him, the way he was hyped by most who had seen him (a lot of people thought he was the best 154lb and by a margin), I expected to see more than a limited spoiler with a decent left hand. No way would Simms beat even this version of ODLH. Huge disapointement. I've seen Alcine many many time and alway's knew he was very talented, but I was disgusted at the way his carreer was managed, apart from SImms, he fought no revelant fighter.

I thought Simms was overhyped in his last fight. He looked like an arrogant guy who had some skills and I thought.... big deal there are so many guys who could fight at a catchweight and give him a drubbing.

Yeah he can counterpunch but in those weight classes so can a lot of guys. When I saw his arrogont mug this time and his arrogant looking wife I was hoping he wouldn't get a home town decision.

Acalino almost lost that fight because of his corner. He should have blown Simms out from the beginning IMO. But I think he actually dropped Simms again with a body shot that got called a slip and for some inexplicable reason Bernstein and company were riding Simm's nuts. All Simms did for this fight was hold Acalino and maybe occasionally counter a punch or two.

Exactly, but you forget the usual tough guy stare he'd occasionnaly throw Alcine way.
