The post on this thread just shows how hypocritical people are about PED. If it's one of their favorite getting cut or if it suits their agenda, they just brush it under the rug and take the same lame excuses alway's used at face value
Going for that cruiserweight title. :goodnews: Hate to get grim, but if it just a matter of time before he's killed?
He didn't offer cutting weight as an excuse, it was just a cutting drug he tested for. Fuck knows how fat he was to have needed that to come in like he did. If it offered him any advantage it was 3 pizzas at night instead of 2
Any competent CW would run him over, I think, in my mind. Roy got dropped by this light punching cat and by most accounts lost the fight yet wound up with the decision. HOWEVER, this fight certainly enhances Roy's legacy.
I don't watch Roy anymore. Can't think of another fighter I'd say that about. Will my hands be clean? ray:
Michalczewski is rich as fuck, i think he's too busy getting the last laugh than to fight Roy now :goodnews:
he was on deca, it's not a cutting drug, it's mostly used for bulking . . BTW, Any streroids, even the one used for cutting like Winstrol or anavar make you gains strength. You should inform youselves before writing such post, only makes you look like an imbecile
Does the cortisone I use to clear up the rashies on my face, and Floyd uses to numb the pain in his hands make us superstrong? Listen, we remember your love of Ruiz. For all I care, James Toney could have been shooting himself up with Incredible Hulk Semen and carrying a roll of quarters in his gloves, and the ends would have justified the means.
I don't mind about Toney taking Roids. I've said numerous times that I think that most top level boxers are on it and that they should be legal. But denying that deca, which is a one of the most widely steroids used, doesn't gives you a strength advantage is just plain dumb. And I guess that if you used cortisone repeteadly, it could have some strenght gains with it (or maybe not), but I don't see why it's relevant to the discussion. Tought I should have been clearer, by steroids i meant anabolic steroids.
I saw a little bit of the fight. Roy needs to go away. Why do his trainers and people around him let him fight? It's sad to watch. It's an accident waiting to happen.
That less than devastating LH that floored him still seemed to buzz him. At least he finally managed to get knocked down & get back up, but that chin is a shocker.
what is Roy's motivation to continue fighting now? the guy should be set for life and is a hall of famer for sure.
