The really funny thing is the condition of his friend Gerald McClellan used to be Roy's favorite excuse for not taking chances in the ring and why he would often claim that he'd never fight past the age of 30. If only 20 something Roy could see himself now, fighting past the age of 40 . He's captain hook. You know, because boxers throw hooks and stuff.
agREED... EVERY Entourage Needs @ Least ONE Guy that Isn't Afraid of Telling the Bread Winner about Himself ....TRUTHFULLY... REED:shit:
Which prompted Salaco to jump in with the by now infamous line about how Roy was the first Pirate in history who was terrified of fighting overseas. http://www.fightbeat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31935&highlight=Roy+Pirate Post #2
I think Roy has re-dedicated himself to the sport. His daddy issues are done, he's got Merk back in the corner, he's learned from his tough fights with Tarver, Calzaghe, Johnson, etc.. and is ready to step it up on the world stage ain't nothin holding him back. I think we'll see RJ in the ring. He's got that gleam in his eye.
