ay dios mio lol...Tito was a legend no doubt but to be fair he doesn’t have any standout wins above 154. Berlanga while nowhere near Tito's level has size and power on his side. Trinidad's best win above 154 was against Joppy and honestly that's not something to write home about. Joppy was a paper champion.

I have no doubt that Inoue is a better fighter than Canelo.

I do. Him struggling against a way past it (though a bit rejuvenated) Donaire in the biggest fight of his career, is enough to make it doubt it. Sure beside that, he looked great and explosive against subpar opposition, but Canelo also looks great against this level of opponents (though a bit less to be honest).

I think it's clear Inoue is better, but Canelo has accomplished quite a lot more IMO.

Canelo was way down on the cards against a shot to shit, fully blown alcoholic Kov. People forget that because the outcome, but he was losing.

Inoue got rocked pretty badly and his eye damaged by Donaire, but he won 9 or 10 rounds in that first fight.

Inoue has been far more dominant and destructive than Canelo. It's not close.

What? You think Inoue wouldn't smoke a Plant or Billy Joe level guy?

I would think both guys smoke Billy Joel unless there's something i don't know about the Piano Man.

No he wasnt. I had Kovy ahead but it was a very close fight. And Inoue never had a size disadvantage like canelo had against Kovalev.

Andf course Inoue would blast guys at the level of Plant and Saunders, but so (did) does Canelo. As I said, Inoue does look better, but his opposition is so subpar that I'm far from sure he is actually better. Boxing history is filled woth guys who looked great against B opposition, but were helpless against A opponents. Weve seen Canelo fight on almost even terms with a top 3 (at worst) p4p guy. Untill Inoue does the same or similar, no way do I accept the narrative that hes much better or even better. No matter how impressive he looks blasting bummish (at world level) opponents

Is there a Inoue opponent youd pick against Canelo p4p? I'll answer for you, fuck no

Fight day. I'm gonna say Canelo in 5.

If Bumlanga is still around after 7, Nelo should be ashamed of himself.

Between Fulton, then Rolly, then Plant v McCummby then Lara vs Garcia, I'm looking forward to the undercard, which isn't always the case.

Inoue's power into question now that Fulton has been hurt by a feather-fisted Carl Castro

Truth is Berlanga is a C level version of Caleb Plant......

Plant should being training keeping his mind in boxing....and not out there starting fights w/ the Charlo, Ryan Garcia, etc....
