No, GGG looks in shape. The other guy looks like a guy who boils down and bullies smaller men.

    But GGG is wrong.

    :wack:

Oh yeah. GGG looked great no doubt. I was just shocked at how small he looked. Now mind you, Chavez is probably like 287 pounds in there.

With no loaded gloves, Cotto beat him up as expected.

Look at Cotto's face ffs, it was too busted up for the punishment he too. Plus Lujan's ear, being that he actually got caught against Mosley, it's not a stretch at all to think he loaded them before, including the biggest fight of his career against Cotto.

As I said before, it's illogical to think Mosley was the first.

Having been a pro for 15 years, age 31, against a guy he was supposed to beat, is the first time he loaded his gloves? Yeah right

True. The red stain incident was too obvious.

I am no psychologist but there is nothing like the sensation or perception of being the victim of an injustice on one hand and the perception of having been caught committing an injustice on the other to totally skew a situation.

I reckon Marg knowing he was cheating and Mosley knowing Marg tried to cheat him contributed for 20% swing in that fight, minimum.

no doubt. Marg was worried about the consequences too. That fight for marg was equal to that long walk home, knowing your parents are waiting to confront you about some shit you did at school. Marg's mind was elsewhere

That goes without saying, of course his mind wasn't on the job, he just got busted and exposed. But he was still basically a big tough scrub without his magic wraps, as Pacquiao and Cotto proved.

Plus, as I've pointed out many times, it was well documented before the fight that he came into camp way heavier than normal. Training was mostly about losing weight.

Of course, as always, this point will be ignored because it doesn't fit the narrative.

cant put any stock in the cotto or pacquiao fights with margarito. mosley ruined the guy. pressure guys who are known to have the chin to walk through opponents and take them out are never the same once that chin is cracked.

    It FEEDS into the narrative.

He didn;t forget how to box because he had to lose some weight.

And, IF he had used the wraps for Cotto, which we suspect he did, then it is eminently possible that he was always going to use them once he had a bad camp.

well that fight seemed to be more about stamina though...when you have nothing left and a big puncher hits you your probably going down.....plus he didn't quit...his corner stopped it in a smart move realizing he had nothing left...so basically im giving him a pass on that fight

I was at my local foodmarket...saw The Ring magazine(shocking, Had Canelo on the cover)...anyway was scanning thru it..it's been years since I seen a boxing magazine...so anyway...it an article ranking MIDDLEWEIGHTS...or somethjing to do with past/current middleweight....didn't read or got into it...but they had GGG rank above Hopkins(not sure which category, maybe prettiest if so then okay).....so the HYPE is real...

That's what GGG's Male Concubine Conglomerate Repeatedly OVERLOOKS...

Time is NOT On his Side...Cotto WILL NOT Fight him...if, If, IF Canelo Did, the EARLIEST it'd Take Place is Probably LATE 2016...Dude is NOT In a Position to Sit Around WAITING for Cotto/Canelo To Decide If/When they'll Take the Bait...

There's a Very REAL Chance GGG's Already Nearing the END of his Prime....Will He Be Just as Good 2-3 Years from Now???...If GGG were 27-28, Playing the Waiting Game, Fighting Bum after Bum, Makes a LOT more Sense...

But Not @ 33...Not if Forging a Legitimate Prizefighting LEGACY is the Goal....

The Problem w/that Comparison is Bernard Hopkins is the EXCEPTION, Not the Rule & Quite Opposite to GGG, Stylistically...

"Cutey's" like Bernard, Toney and Floyd Have Styles BUILT for Longevity & Success Into their Mid - Late 30's...There's Undeniable SCIENCE to GGG's Approach, but 1st and Foremost he's an Aggressive, Attacking, Combative Fighter...As Such, he TAKES More Clean Shots in a Single Fight than Guys like Hopkins, Toney, Floyd Do in 2,3 or 4 Fights...

Looooooooooooooooooooong Story Short, Don't Bet on GGG Fighting @ his Current Level, 3-5 Years from Now...Time is NOT On his Side...

REED is correct in regards to the difference in styles. GGG will NOT age like fine wine the way Hop did. This is the best he'll ever be, and in 3-5 years I have no doubt he won't be the same.
