Pretty sure this is not true:-

    BARCELONA ARE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS

    Chelsea 0-4 Barcelona

Barcelona win the Champions League, the first time in their history they are Europe's best, and the first Spanish team to win it too.

The whitest team in the Premier League, Burnley, put in a racism complaint against a Leeds player.

In the clip I saw, the guy stuck his tongue out & put his hands behind his ears. I don't know about racist, but I haven't seen that move since second grade.

I told you we would fuck this up. No
passion, no ambition, no creativity. They couldn't be bothered to play for top 4. Then they couldn't be bothered to play for top 6 or 7. Another "Magnifico" special.

I cannot fathom Evertons home form.

How do you go to United and hang tough in a 3-3 draw and then not be able to beat these bums?

You only just discovering Dibnah? He's a staple. People think he's Yawkshyah but he's not, he's the other side of the Pennines.

Old school. He used to mine them and light fires to weaken them so they'd come doon like the twin towers.

They got rid of him and his white privileged sort after a while.

Today on my way oot I saw this lanky Romanian on a scaffold breaking out window frames.

No health and safety gear and his detritus was landing in the street.

But he was a paragon of Health and Safety compared to Dibnah. How he never came off those things is beyond me.

    Terrifying.

The pitch that's filmed in front of is the site of the first ever international fitbaw match in the 1860s! Even more significantly the tenement flat hut grew up in is just to the right of shot

Tangenting further by tying these two tangents of ancient history & the significance of getting pished together.....i was watching a docu on gobekli tepi last night and the archaeologist presenting it claimed that the most likely original purpose of the permanent settlement there, and thus of the agricultural revolution and civilization itself....was to guarantee sufficient supplies of beer for parties. Seriously. Im sure thats a contested theory but im gonna suspend scientific skepticism & completely believe it. Beer is the reason for civilization itself.

The nonchalant way he vaults the overhanging gangway....feet dangling, hauling himself by his fingertips up & over a wooden plank he d-i-y'd onto a condemed brick structure 200 feet in the air. Different breed of human

Beer is a complex process... You can't make beer without science and organization. Any peoples who did not master brewing were certainly backward and probably more prone to violence than others.

That settlement is amazing. 9000 years ago. Unreal what we're about and wgat we've been about. Baffling. Brilliant.

Who knows what humans were up to before that massive astroid hit Greenland ~12,000 years ago. Maybe gobekli tepi was more akin to the first steps of a cripple after a crash than a toddlers

Greta can keep talking shit. We're dealing with asteroids and disappearing civilizations. Tens of thousands of years. Mysteries of the ages. Unexplained phenomena. Alien technology. Rangers fans.

Its pretty terrifying. Some geologists had apparently been talking about impact proxies for years - ash layers, evidence of a cataclysmic flash flooding in north America, the 'younger dryas' period of extreme global cooling- but had largely been dismissed....then they found the crater itself a couple of years back. I mean global warming is no joke but we should be spending as much again on insuring against astroid strikes.

10 playoff appearances and they've never gone up. I think that's correct.

Weather here has been pretty shit all spring and now out of nowhere today it's 30 above and sunny. I've been putting off some yard work because of rain and wind and now it's too hot.

I have been hooked on NHK lately. They've been doing a lot of shows on the big Tsunami they had ten years ago.

They were talking about a whole town that basically got wiped out between Fukushima & Sendai. The employees of a bank all went on to the top of an 18 story building thinking they'd be safe. Eventually they were all swept away and died (or are officially missing.) I was thinking how terrifying that must have been seeing the water rise to that level quickly and beginning to realize that it's all over.
