In Griezmann's case he publicized he was staying at Atletico. So after all that garbage and only one season later he chooses not only to leave but for the same club he was linked with last time and more or less snubbed. I would only bother because it's a bother. The big clubs are constantly using their wealth and stature to poach players from other teams.
