I thought starting Dave Chapelle was risky from City. I was proven right.

Also, Joleon Lescott, what is a dessifit?

I actually really miss the Shaun Goater Man City, they were a proper football club and a team you genuinely really looked forward to playing, proper fans and all that.

Their current team are phenomenal, don't get me wrong, perhaps the best side I've ever seen, but I genuinely wonder how many people in that stadium tonight remembered, or even know about the Paul Dickov escape act against Gillingham.

They think Shaun Goater was, well, the GOAT or something.

It was like a Church in there tonight....you think of Liverpool being 2 down Vs Dirtmund in a Europa League game and still being roared on.

It's almost like they know they're a made club and a made team.

    It's not visceral and organic.

Even in a losing effort, Vini Jr. looked like the best player on the pitch today imo.

His goal was sensational. Fernandinho should have walked straight off the pitch after getting violated like that.

I'm gonna say LFC like 3-1 or 4-1 over VR today.

He's brilliant in certain scenarios. I can't over state how awful they were for large parts Vs Chelsea in Madrid.

City have to be favourites. Real are still imposing lockdowns on their fans, it's a quiet place these days.

He's 21, so consistency still isn't at 100% yet. But he's been pretty fucking brilliant all year, in creating and scoring.

City are def the favorites, though obvi im hoping LFC can pull it off. Just too many weapons.

I haven't been watching allllll that closely in the last month or so. Honestly, I've been in a mode where I'm slacking on both football and boxing.

Hows Grealish been playin? He still a disappointment?

Was catching up on some matches I've missed, just watching randoms. Watched Rangers vs Red Star from last month.

Ryan Kent has some talent, but he's gotta be one of most inconsistent players in the world. Theres been a shitload of matches this year where he's been horrendous.

Also caught myself watching the Brazilian Serie A for the first time. Think I'm gonna start following that league. Like MLS, the games are fun, even if they aren't the Prem/La Liga/Bundesliga/Serie A caliber players

Ryan Kent seems to have dropped off a cliff this year...all the pace and athleticism is there but the final product is pure toilet. Our second choice right back had more goals and assists than him last i checked :Cry111:

Van Dijk, Tierney, Dembele etc..... the spfl is obviously a shit standard but in the rare instance a Bentley swans down Dundee high street you can still see its a Bentley. Cameron Carter Vickers isnt as good an all round footballer as Van Dijk but he's the best pure defender we've had since. The boy's a rock. If Spurs sell him for £6m they clearly don't know what they've got- some premiership club will end up paying 3-4x that in a few years

Speaking of the SPL, I hoping for a West Ham v Rangers Europa final. Think that'd be an interesting match.

Well, that now doesn't look as likely.

The krauts have the UK clubs on the ropes.

I think both German sides have to be favourites. Rangers have the better chance to turn it around. Frankfurt were excellent and West Ham fought hard but their squad just isn't big enough to fight on two fronts. Their first XI is very good but they look knackered.

Yeah, Rangers have a decent shot to pull it off at Ibrox.

    WH appears outgunned.

On this side of the pond, Seattle Sounders have a shot at winning the Concacaf final next week against Mexican side Pumas. The Yanks vs Mexico is more and more becoming a closer rivalry.

I haven't been following Bundesliga super closely, but Christopher Nkunku is a fuckin beast.

I hear Man U wants to bag him. They goddamn sure need him.

They're one of the all time great football clubs but honestly if I was a world class footballer I'd avoid Man Utd like the plague at the moment. It's poisonous over there right now.

So all year I've been watching football purely on the streaming services. Peacock for the Prem, Paramount+ for Serie A and SPL, and ESPN+ for LaLiga, Bundesliga, EFL, and MLS.

I just realized this week that through my cable provider BeinSports covers all of Ligue 1 and Turkish Super Lig, and GoalTV covers LigaMX, the Peruvian Premier, and the Ecuadorian Premier.

So, I've been trying to take in all of them. I dont think the Ecuadorian league would even register as a top 50 league in the world. The MLS is the EPL compared to them, but I always enjoy watching South American matches.

Do you think they'll fall hard enough to become a side fighting to stave off relegation?

@Hut*Hut I didn't realize the market value of the Celtic wingers is so low. Ryan Kent is worth more than double Jota and Abada.

He sure AF never looks twice as good as them.

From what I surmise, Abada might be a star in Scotland by his mid 90s.

He probably would be just meh in England or Spain.

Another loss for QPR, I get there's nothing to play for now but at least put some effort in, fucking hell.
