RVB still does the weird staring with his eyes when his entrance song comes on.

Wayne Mardle says 'Bendy Cock' during the RvB match. Realised and fell into pieces. They'll be footage of it on tinterweb somewhere.

First big upset. Van den Bergh dances his way out of the tournament.

Incredible finishing from Hemple. Nine from eleven attempts. Can't do much with that.

What's everyone's thoughts on Mo Salah? He's my favorite player to watch on the current scene.

Mine too. He's a wonderful player and I think he is currently the best in the world. The guy has everything.

Unbelievable player. He's having a brilliant season and hopefully his form continues to help Liverpool win the title, but Man Citeh just look too strong right now.

Yeah, his finishing was excellent. He hit a little bad patch but it didn't last long. Van den Bergh looked shell-shocked and overall despondent.

Michael Smith was very impressive with his scoring and finishing (75% on his doubles). He's got all the talent in the world but I do question if he has the bottle to win it outright.

What leagues do you guys follow besides the Prem League?

I've been dabbling in a bit of everything, whatever's on.

Followed the MLS playoffs, and split by time between LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Eredivisie, and the Scottish Premiership.

I watch Celtic games whenever I can, they play later today.

The Championship is great because anyone can beat anyone on any day. If you're in the bottom half of the table, say after Christmas/new year, you can go on a run and make a push for the playoffs. The playoffs are great with the drama involved. If you're in the semi-finals and you lose the 1st leg (away from home, for example), you have a second bite at the cherry in the 2nd leg (with the home crowd behind you), to fight your way back into the tie and qualify for the final.

Premier League and Championship, the latter mainly because my team (and Jimmy's) is in it, but as Jimmy pointed out it is a great league to watch anyway as it's always really competitive and the teams are evenly matched.

I used to watch Bundesliga and La Liga a lot as they used to be really competitive with lots of good sides, these days though I barely watch as it's just too one-sided. La Liga to be fair is a lot more competitive this year but I'd put that down more to Barcelona's decline than a huge jump in quality from the other clubs.

I always make a point of watching the Old Firm Matches in Scotland.

I keep tabs on everything in England first. The pyramid down to the sixth tier and the two domestic cups that involve the Premier League clubs. Then the European tournaments. I loosely keep an eye on the Japanese league and my team, Yokohama F Marinos. And sometimes see how the Japanese clubs are doing in the Asian Champions League.

We have a real chance to challenge for the top two. Fulham and Bournemouth may be the teams to beat, but they have been dropping points (in fact, Fulham haven't won in five and Bournemouth haven't won in six) and the chasing pack (Blackburn and West Brom more so currently), are hot on their heels. We have games in hand (plus play Bournemouth next week), so we could be in the mix also. The way it's going, the top 5-7 teams could be battling it out for a two finish, right up to the final games of the season.

Salah is the best player this season, but for me Phil Foden is a fantastic little player. I know he plays for Oilchester Citeh, and has great players around him and all that, but he's a player that makes things happen. Has a lovely left foot. Great eye for a pass. I love how he picks out players with deft little passes. Give him the ball and he wants to take it forward and attack. Always aware of what's around him. Has an eye for goal too. People are aware of how good he is, but I still feel like he's not talked about too much. In years to come though, when he really matures as a player, he's going to take his game to another level.

Foden is indeed a badass. I believe he's only like 22-23, too.

I have no idea WTF Klopp is smiling about.
I know this isn't really a "Liverpool" side but there's fuck all funny about getting monstered early doors on your own patch by a team like Lester.

Oh and Tyler Morton should have been red carded, that was as bad as Kanes bollox

Liverpool B side trying hard now. Old man Jamie Steptoe is like Jaws, he's out there somewhere, the bastard.
