Another old school watch last night - an old Ajax match from the 70s.

Cryuff was amazing. He was also blistering quick.

Everton-Leicester postponed a second time both by Leicester's request. Four Everton matches postponed in less than a month. One at Everton's request.

Maybe they should postpone the next request for a postponement.

Suits Benitez. He's getting players in and desperately trying to strengthen.. You've got a massive FA cup game next against Brentford and if you win that then who knows.

The way he shows up in a skatepark with a powerful motorised vehicle, for openers, is disgraceful.... The way he loses it is worse... But the way the kids run over to laugh him out of it is priceless..

Randomly came upon highlights of Martin Boyle from the Scottish Prem. He looks fun to watch.

Aye Celtic keep being linked with him but personally given his age and the strength we have in that position now i dont see much point in the move. But hes def among the top handful of non-old firm players in the league

Yeah, I noticed his age - he's 28, meaning in the heart of his prime right now.

If he were 23-24, I would def say it'd be worth Celtic to try and get him.

I mean, they put lines there so people can tell whether it is or isn't from the half way line

    This isn't.

Its from inside the oppositions half.

    Question, lads!

How good was Eden Hazard in his prime? His prime was with Chelsea, correct?

Exactly how I saw it. Talented player but I never saw greatness in him, quite overrated in his prime.

I heard that he was compared with Grealish, or rather Grealish was compared to Hazard. Is Grealish better than Hazard ever was?

No I wouldn't say so. I like Grealish, he's a talented kid, but he still has a hell of a lot to prove. In fairness to Hazard, whilst he's overrated when compared to all time Premier League greats, he was a key member of the Chelsea sides he won the Premier League with, and you could argue he was the difference between them finishing as Champions or not. Grealish will probably win the league this season with City but he's never been "the man" so far this season, it's a team packed with superstars and they wouldn't really suffer if he didn't play again this year. Don't get me wrong, he hasn't played badly or anything, but at the same time he hasn't staked his claim as an indispensable member of the side either, if that makes sense.

Yeah Citeh is fuckin stacked between Grealish, Foden, De Bruyne, Sterling, ect.

Whenever I've watched them this year, Foden and Sterling look like the alphas out there.

Seems like a nice kid in all the interviews I've seen of him.

Watched an interview where a reporter asked him how does he feel about being compared to Gazza. Said he didn't deserve to be compared to Gazza yet.

He is a good egg, just absurdly stupid. He'll never be in the class of Gazza, which is no insult, Gazza was just that good. He has a lot of talent and potential though, he needs to work on his end product and consistency.

Fair play to the Celtic board, they're really backing Ange this January. 5 signings already and it looks like we're close to 3 more including making the Jota & Vickers transfers permanent. Feels like the most ambitious/purposeful window we've had since Martin O'Neil's first summer in charge.

I suspect the board have seen enough to gamble that Ange is the man to get us back up where we belong with the Portos and Ajax' permanantly. Virtuous updraft of Champions league money reinvested in resalable young players plus champions league money reinvested in resalable young players plus champions league money and so on.

    Hopefully just a mistake. Fuckers.
