I remember watching a video on that kid, he looked shit hot. That's a shame it hasn't worked out for him.

Yeah there's not many where there's been such a drastic change within their actual pro career, it's quite rare. Campbell and Dublin are the ones that stick out for me.

Yep, Bale started as a left back, and he had a horrible record for Spurs in that position. It got this bad at one point:

Spurs flop Gareth could Bale out in January as Birmingham boss Alex McLeish eyes £3m defender | Daily Mail Online

Then Redknapp played him on the wing in the Champions League against Inter, he scored a hat trick and never looked back. Kinda mad they were about to cut their losses and ship him to Birmingham, then a few years later he was the most expensive signing in world football.

Speaking of positional changes, I think whilst he is obviously good in his current position, Trent Alexander-Arnold should really be a winger rather than a full-back. Not sure what Irish thinks of that, but imo his attacking play is superb whilst he can have a lot of brain farts defensively.

Thierry Henry started out as a winger, but again it's not that drastic a change.

Interesting thought. I suppose it's because he's got good pace so can make up for lost ground, but also has an eye for nice passes that can quickly change defense to offense. Works well in Liverpool's system. Most defenders just hammer it down field hoping for a team mate happens to latch onto it while with TAA there's often more thought and skill behind his longer forward balls.

TAA as a winger isn't the worst idea no.

There have been about 4 pure full backs in my life.

Neville. Cashley. Irwin....anybody else want go throw in a name?

    I think Robertson is a proper full-back.

We're up to 4, so :Jest:

The point is they're all hybrids these days.

Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, TAA , the modus is clear.... "Get down the line"

No touches for Celtic in the Rangers half this past 10 minutes.

McCarthy on for Hatate. This won't get any easier to watch.

Yah it was very, well, out of the blue

    :Jest:

Now... You said "3 games, 3 wins, we'll win the league.."

You've got the 3 wins, still feel brave?

Ironically this was the best performance.... Dundee 10 men, last minute shite.... Hearts was a hang-on, missed penalty jobbie.

This was relentless quality for about 60 minutes....got a bit ragged, natch, but Celtic did finish stronger.

Mind I felt brave when we 9 points behind, I think its over now, i would bet my cock & balls on it. You could see what ange was trying to do and the improvement and progression towards it early, but like in high level weight training they say fatigue masks fitness - we had so many injuries we couldnt even make subs let alone rotate for months on end there yet you could still see us improving as they system came together. We'll absolute fly home now that we have some depth for rotation

Appatently its now the number one answer british teens give to the question: what do you want to do when you leave school (social media influencer). Not that im overly snooty about it....there's loads of great channels on yt and i get to watch em for free.

There's a big difference between people that have a cool youtube channel and these fucks who consider themselves "influencers". Some of these clowns go around to businesses asking for free shit in exchange for "exposure" because they have a bunch of followers on instagram. They need to die.

Haha....they usually have really nice arses tho & if them showing me them pays their bills for a couple of years, good for them. The one that totally bewilders me is people who make a living playing computer games. Who tf watches other people play computer games? Whats next, podcasts about other people playing computer games? Hot take commentary videos on podcasts about other people playing computer games? Away out and play, kids.

I'm not really subscribed to anything. Often times the algorithm does a decent enough job but it also seems to put you in box of sorts. If you're watching vids on a PC clear your cookies or browse in private window so the recommendations might be new. I don't use a smart phone but i'm sure you can do similar things.

Not sure what you're looking for but if you haven't come across it History made simple is cool. Informational without taking itself too seriously.
