Might give baseball a chance this year. There's now a pitch clock, which should speed up the game and benefit hitters. Baseball went in the shitter once they outlawed PEDs. Then they turned around and vilified Bonds and McGuire when they knew damn well everyone was on the juice.

The ultimate baseball hypocrisy came when they let Big Papi Ortiz in the HOF. Ortiz tested positive for PEDs. But because he's a likable guy, it gets swept under the rug. They won't let the best player in history in, simply because he's an asshole. Bonds not being a media darling has kept these hack writers from voting him in.

What a shocker. Dominic Catwalk Lewin is injured for the derby. The FA need to launch an investigation on how a professional athlete is getting injured in training a dozen times a year (at least.)

Baseball is the most hypocritical thing on earth, in sports.... Remember all those senators anf congressmen who were supposed to be investigating the scandals and they'd always start their questioning with "let me just say i love baseball".... and then they'd, metaphorically, throw soft balls. Tee balls. Nobody wanted to get to the bottom of shit!!

2-0 is about what I expected at Anfield but I'm disappointed that the attack was completely toothless again. A defender scored against Arsenal and he almost scored again. Our attacking players can't get shit going.

And that first goal was ridiculous. First, McNeil sends a square pass in to a DM instead of shooting. That allowed the counter. Then they have a 4 on 2 break. What IN THE FUCK was Mykolenko doing running to the one guy who had a defender on him? He turned a 4 on 2 into a 4 on 1. That made Pickford panic and come out of the goal and Salah got an easy one. Pathetic.

    Pickfight is a joke.

Everton were unlucky to not score but as you say you need to foul, stop the breakaway.

Neither side is really with it and I think Newcastle will do the business at the weekend.

I don't want Everton to get relegated but the truth is that the 3 bottom teams are always the three worst teams.

That was a good Liverpool performance. Full of energy, desire and confidence. Salah was excellent. I was impressed with Darwin (he needs to go away post-season and just concentrate on his shooting because he could be phenomenal). Bajcetic was ootstanding. Trent's passing was excellent but still very suspect in defense. Gakpo's confidence should be high now after scoring his first goal, but not sure if he'll remain a regular starter with Jota and Firmino back.

Everton are in real trouble with their problems up top. They really need the DCL of 2-3 seasons ago but that guy can't be found and is struggling to stay on the pitch. Maupay isn't good enough and Simms looks way too inexperienced and won't cut it.

Pickford is getting murdered in the press for a schoolboy error but if the left back stays anywhere in the middle instead of losing his mind, there's no way Pickford comes out.

I have seen enough of Mykolinko for now. He had a bad fuck up later that almost cost another goal. I don't know anything about the back up LB, Vanagre (on loan) because like many of the subs, Lampard never played him.

Amazimg to see old footage like this fully colourized/speed adjusted. 134,000 crowd....plus kids. The actual fitbaw still looks prehistoric but they're playing on a cowfield with something the weight of a cannon ball

Huge game tonight. Really hope Citeh don't win. If they do you feel they're going to pull away. It's a must win for Arsenal for me.

Huge game, no doubt. I don't think Arsenal will fall off for the rest of the season. Winning ways will resume soon, hopefully today. Got robbed of about 7 points this season by VAR. The league would be basically done already.

It would be a punch to the gut but the chase is still on even if City wins today (since we haven't beaten them in the league in 10 games).

I think it's since 2015 when Arsenal last beat Citeh in the league? That's unbelievable. I really hope that changes tonight!

Chelsea have been pretty unlucky not to score but that goal by Dortmund was a one man masterpiece.
