Why is it kosher for Manchester (all of them) to seek out State ownership but not Newcastle???

This is why my position, and many other NUFC fans, has hardened. I'd happily tip all this state ownership in the bin, but this hypocrisy boils my piss.

Manchester United are "special". Wait for some Bollox about Munich ,levelling up, Northern powerhouses etc to get rolled out. It's a special case.....it's important that they are always champions and have all the money they need.

They've spent a half-billion since Fergie left but the stadiums falling to bits, the training grounds falling to bits, their "community" is falling to bits and besides look at this, it's picture of Duncan Edwards, you wouldn't deny Duncan, would you???

I remember him when he was a kid at dundee united and I think there was some tentative talk of celtic links but then he went totally off my radar - turns out sporting lisbon signed him! But he didnt quite make the grade there. MLS seems like a great option for scottish players to me.... competitive league with good crowds, go live somewhere they speak english, potentially with great weather and in a cool city. We have a guy on loan to a portugese side right now called mike johnstone - similar style and talent level to Morgan, if a little better. A genuinely decent player but he's never gonna play ahead of Jota. If i was him Id take my show to NYC or Chicago before i settled for playing at Dundee United or Huddersfield Town or something

A pretty intense day out. The section i was in was at least 25-50% over capacity, stairways totally blocked, 3 people for every two 'seats', bodies flying over shoulders. KYOGO

The whole Celtic end is ringed by a big external area with the turnstiles set about 30 or 40 yards back from the actual stadium. The upshot being about a quarter mile of 8 foot high fencing which basically gets sieged ~10m or so before every cup final/old firm. They all pile into the 2 or 3 sections behind the goal

This kid Thiago Almada who plays for Atlanta United in MLS is the one kid we have over here who's truly a world class talent IMO. I think it's only a matter of time before he's playing in one of the big European leagues.

Blackburn's Tyrhys Dolan is a fun lil player to watch. Admittedly, I don't watch the Championship all that much, unless it's Cup play. Is he good enough for a Prem side?

There's a little midget playing for Leeds you might want to check out. Basically looks like a midget version of Michael Johnson.. Ekuban is his name.

The gulf between Championship and Premier League isn't ALWAYS apparent from CUP games but it's not uncommon to see Championship sides get promoted to the PL and then get slaughtered. I mean get less than 20 points in a season, shit like that....relegated by Christmas etc.

Derby, Sunderland, Wolves, Norwich are all sides who tore it up in the C'Ship and got buggered in the big time.

There ARE championship sides who have individually brilliant players who crossover to the PL and succeed, Andrew Robertson is one of them.

In 2012 he tweeted out that he needed to go and get a job. A job.

In 2014 he moved from Dundee United to Hull City. Hull are rubbish. Dundee United are the best team....in Dundee.

Him and old Slabhead Maguire signed for Hull. Both are now EPL players and Robertson has won everything in club fotball- EVERYTHING- having been unemployed 10 years ago.

That might be the league for Arsenal. Wins like that are more than 3 points.

What a fucking game!!!! Honestly I was calm the whole game. Even after 2-0 down. This squad has the fight to win it all. Reiss Nelson, what a return!

I'd settle for a draw right now as NUFC and Spurs all dropped points this weekend.

That's how you play out of the back. What a finish too.
