Timo Werner scored a sick ass goal on Augsburg yesterday. One of the sweetest goals I've seen this year. And of course, clueless ass Chelsea let's him go.

 

I'm not going to defend Chelsea's transfer policy (or the club in general) but Werner missed a whole lot of chances one would expect a striker to bury. He's very hot and cold and at the highest levels more consistency is expected.

 

That club has made a lot of strange moves and as of now still have an army of first team players.

A few years back, Tammy Abraham was their leading scorer but about 2/3 of the way through the season, they figured out that Chelsea played better when he wasn't on the pitch. He was eventually benched and shipped. Then all of that money to get Lukaku from Inter just to loan him back to Inter.

 

It got me thinking about Ronaldo with Man U last season. He was the leader in goals and assists (most were penalty kicks and two foot tap ins) and they got him TFO of there.

TAA in midfield next season is a no-brainer. Just get some miserly fuck in at left back, get some nano-augmentation for Konaté. Oh and re-sign Mané now he's on his way out at Bayern.

 

I've said for ages TAA should be a midfielder and would thrive with a Bale-like switch into a more attacking role. He's brilliant going forward but is an absolute liability in defence.

 

Seems Klopp sees it too. If we could just get a real true rt back it would work wonders. Even tonight TAA was double-jobbing trying to help out Konate who was struggling in the back 3 and gifted Leeds their goal.

If Everton go down I'd ask for Coleman.

 

Hence the reason why they are taking such harsh action. If it was a star quality player there would be a press conference where he was forced to apologize and coached on the exact wording. (or just given something to read from). It would also be announced that he's going attend some form of bs counselling and so on.
