Agreed. As much as I can't stand the guy, his talent is undeniable, but "clutch" is the last word I would ever attach to him as a player.

 

It would be hilarious if his contract was worded something like that where he's doing the same job but they give him a lesser title which comes with a pay cut.

 

Something about this Real team just winds me up and I'm not sure what it is. When they had Ronaldo, Bezema, Bale etc it was kind of expected because they were essentially built to win the Champions League, I got it and wasn't too bothered. Their current team is really not that great outside of Vinicius who is superb. Modric and Benzema are having exceptional Indian summers to their careers and with regards to Modric I respect it a lot, he's always been a wonderful player, but it seems like it's more a case of teams bottling it against them than Real succeeding through their own brilliance, if that makes sense. Like, if you put the exact same players in a different club with Ancelotti in charge, they wouldn't win shit. I dunno, I respect what they're doing, but it does nothing for me as a fan.

I've gotta say it, we are shit. Utter shit. A draw tonight against Norwich and we probably should have won, but we are one point off the relegation zone now and if we go down we deserve it completely. I'm beyond being mad about it now, we just don't look capable of winning, and if we somehow get some kind of run together to stay up at the end of the season we are just papering over the cracks. We will be right back in the mire next season.
