Yeah I was saying the same. 5 were added. 5 were played. I'd sooner take the point than this reputation as LiVARpool.etc.

It'll be great in five years time when referees are doing shit like that for us, instead of the last thirty years of doing it against us.

Eight minutes of added time. Not a single injury or stoppage worth a light.

Not one player went off injured in that match, and they found TWELVE minutes of stoppage time in total.

    Cheating bastards.

Important win for Liverpool, tough look for Newcastle but their squad is still a bit short of quality and depth, they should be pushing for a Europa League spot though by end of season

Gone right off Klopp, me. He's turning into Ferguson, with his bullshit antics and intimidating officials. Looking forward to getting him to SJP. Hope Joelinton got him in the tunnel.

I see where you're coming from but his conduct in the flush of victory and his general conduct per se are chalk and cheese..sometimes he doesn't think.

Furthermore, he take setbacks far better than.people like Guardiola, whose conduct when losing is abominable

NUFCs first eleven is a match for anyone. There is no depth at all beyond that. That team there was basically our reserves - five first team players didn't start or are injured. The depth is what is missing. It will take time.

Sorry, but that's bollocks. He spent the entire match, as soon as NUFC scored, berating the fourth official about perceived fouls (he tried desperately to get Joelinton booked throughout) and demanding time be added for minor little delays. It worked. Got as much time as needed to get the goal he wanted. Then the whistle immediately goes.

Honestly, it was a Fergie masterclass. He can fuck off.

He spent the whole match gesturing to the fourth official and the NUFC bench. The whole game. He's turned into a real prick. I used to like him.

They're all at that. Conte and Tuchel had to be dragged off each other. If I was there I'd be the same. There's nothing to stop Howe doing likewise , squeaky wheel etc....you get fuck all that you don't barrack out of them. I don't like it but it's the done thing...

Here's the thing, Howe needs to come out and say what's up. Instead he's being nice. That won't work.

Interesting read, that. I haven't really seen much of either but both look like serious players and welcome additions to the league.

Yeah, watching Sinisterra last year, I felt he looked too good for the Eredivisie.

Had no clue Leeds had him until a few days ago.

Its a potentially funny side plot in this year's season given that so much Eredevisie 'talent' has been snapped up, I suspect that Man U have struck out again and will be seeking to offload Martinez (Def) and Ant (seems like hot and cold player to me) next season

Good to see, great composure on that finish. Maybe he can break into the scotland squad. We have a very similar, talented winger called mikey johnston who currently can't get any game time ahead of Jota/Maeda i bet a years loan in the mls would be great for him.

Great to see Wanyama, too! What a ledge

Aye, I went to bed in the huff. Not too much happier this morning. Still waiting to see a credible explanation as to where that cunt got 8 minutes of stoppage time from. Signals 5m, Pope injured for 90secs, adds 3m.

Nothing to see here. Absolutely nowt.

Fuck 'em. Things like this will make the inevitable slew of trophies in 5-10 years time all the more enjoyable.

I watch the game via my phone on Bet365. I can't sit thru 90.minutes of cortisol producing shite anymore. If we lose or draw, I quietly open a new page to some politics or law or something else..I try to act like it never happened.

Years ago when Spurs beat Liverpool 2-1 I went out walking, sweating and kicking things. Fucking daft behaviour.

Some fairly liberal non-partisan sources (not Twitter) said timewasting played a role in the added time, but the timewasting they referred to took place throughout the game rather than in the added 5.

I'm all about Karma but the laws don't factor Karma in. If it becomes whimsical and philosophical then you might as well bin the laws and let it "take care of itself over the course of a season", which is of course a bullshit folksy myth.

Arbitrary laws are worse than no laws. Way worse.

Guardian and BBC were pushing the timewasting narrative today. Whether they really feel that way or they were just trying to foreshadow a feud I don't know.

The press is largely beyond, way past, whatever...trying any proper attempt at explaining things in objective terms....rather the value for them is in the shock headline, the vendetta.

I think that Newcastle United conceding again another last minute goal to Liverpool did it as much as anything else. What's that now? 3 times?

Also a few missiles appear to have been lobbed towards the LFC bench as much out of frustration as malice.

There's no need for this to spiral into another vendetta but I'm sure the hacks will get on board to build the atmosphere for the return game.

For Liverpool, the same old crises appeared again and again namely a little leggy striker getting in on a through ball and doing a center back . Gomez and TAA are too mistake prone in a league as tight as this.

The net spend is thus as there's been no mass off loading of shite and Newcastle/Manchester/Liverpool etc have all rejoined the fray simultaneously.

It's like the loading phase of a creatine cycle.

Come back in a year and watch that figure drop as chastened clubs desperately line up for a much needed piss into the channel.

They'll pick up for pennies on the pound what English clubs forked out dopey money for.
