    Yeah. It's not used as much as "joto" at least from Mexicans. They say "puto" & "puta" are homophobic but I learned it as "bitch" and "male bitch."

    Mexican football fans forever would chant "PUTO!!!" whenever the other team had a goal kick against Mexico. FIFA has cracked down on that.

    My missus is Spanish speaking and used to work as a community worker with wee bampots in Govan....after she left they used to shout 'hey Puto!' at her in the street....she was mainly just touched they went to the trouble to google that shit in her honour.
