6k at 6m per k is just very impressive....I can do it but that's really my threshold, it's injury territory thereafter for me and also mentally I'm patting myself on the back and looking to quit.

She's obviously so much lighter but still...it's what I'm aspiring to so it remains impressive.

Apparently £100m £300k per week Grealysh answers his critics by scoring a goal yesterday.

Arsenal are still chinless, IMHO. They failed that big test and their recent form is merely impressive in contrast to what they've offered over the past 10 years .

Its a pseudonym. You don't think for one second we'd use actual real names for things like data collection, do you?

There is not a single piece of equipment outside my work I use my real name for.

She's eight and a half stone. A wee slip of a lass. No running experience at all, but keen to learn and could get straight in, without a significant weight loss needed.

She started at your times. In Jan this year, she was aiming for a 30m 5k. She was flat out at 6.10 pace. But she stuck with it, eats well, drinks well and trains hard. Now she can do 15k at 5.37 pace, with the last 3k all inside 5.15 pace.

It will come. Stick with it, but be sensible about how you go about it.

Of course  I expected Brentford to cause Arsenal more problems. They've not been at the races at all.

Good luck to her I know how she feels :Jest:

    I'm being sensible...I've got that Jan 1st 200lb target.

    The game will change thereafter.

I've no intention of blowing it like I did in 2003 when I got down to 144lb and was ready to just explode up in weight again.

I simply don't use Google, Amazon, Ebay etc. I try to avoid as much of the big data gatherers as I can. No loyalty cards. I won't use YouTube without a proxy server and never sign in. Even my Just Eat account is registered to John Smith. No Twitter or Facebook. I'm as close to off-grid as you can be in this world.

Arteta brings on 15 year old Ethan Nwaneri. Beats the youngest record by 6 months.

Its only a matter of time before they start coming apart. Doubt they’ll reach the level of their hey day but they’re fun to watch.

I agree,I think it's unfair of me to judge them harshly. They're doing well for a team that finished 5th or 6th or whatever but they're not Championship timber, but top4 contenders.

Aye I think the best a team in arsenal's position could hope for is a two or three year arc with this year being a staging post for the following year. Covering that sort of distance takes time, squad depth, growing belief

There are no Henrys, Bergkamps and Vieiras in the squad (actually we have one Vieira). I'm enjoying the youth project. They seem to have improved so far since last year. I think that will be enough for top 4 and that's the goal of the season.

We need more quality and depth in midfield and more goals from up top, which is the key to challenging for the title. Teams like City, United and Chelsea spend more in one offseason than Arsenal in 3 summers. Bumping Chelsea or spurs out of top 4 would be fantastic. I hope we do win the FA Cup this year. It's the closest thing to playoffs in the Premier League.

I don't take the table seriously until after Christmas, but I think Arsenal and Tottenham both look like very good sides right now. Title contenders is a different matter but if they're still playing with this kind of form in January then you'd have to take them seriously. A bit different this year obviously because of the World Cup.

Im guessing the fixture pile up from january onward is gonna be particularly brutal at which point squad depth is gonna be extra important

Yeah, depth is always important but it's going to be amplified this season. I suspect we'll see more moves in the winter transfer window than usual.

I have been keeping up with the PL matches, scores and highlights but not the news.

Why did they cancel three matches this weekend and let seven go on?

Yeah that mess is gonna throw off a bunch of shit for everybody. Which will make the season interesting all across the board but on the other hand it’s gonna be annoying as fuck, especially if your club has a good run going into the break.

Hopefully it doesn’t figure too much into the final outcomes of the leagues and CL.

London police are stretched thin because of the Queen's funeral. Arsenal had an away game so it got approved to go on.

Hmm. Arsenal had an away game...in London. I guess they figure Hounslow is out of the way enough.

Yeah, my England geography isn't great surely. It was originally part of the canceled games then they changed it. Basically it was police security issues that caused the cancellations. Of course Monday's game was postponed because of the funeral.

My England geography is better than my US geography. Over a decade of planning UK trips that included League Cup and FA Cup ties in the mix. Plus I'm kind of a map nerd anyway.

I can run down the first six tiers on the pyramid and tell you where all those clubs are.
