    Great question and great answer.

I'd give it to Suarez too (if not by much, because Salah is an incredible player). I think Suarez in 2014 is maybe the best league season I've seen one individual have. He raised the game of everyone around him too, he deserved a Premier League winner's medal that year, but life is unfair.

I looked it up, Suarez scored 31 goals in 33 games that season and not a single one was a penalty. That's fucking mental.

And 16 were against Norwich :Jest:

Pretty sure he missed the only penalty he ever took, vs Sunderland

Suarez was incredible to watch in person. Like Irish said, he was a step ahead of everyone else. Amazing anticipation and pounced on any errors in a flash.

Among the select few who ever scored at that rate in the prem, i fancy he'd compare really well for assists, defensive pressures and other less glam stats. He was a grafter and a team player

England-Ze Germans tonight. Maguire starts again so it's confirmed, in my opinion, that he'll definitely start at the World Cup. Stones comes in for Walker. Dier also at the back. So a back three of Maguire, Dier and Stones. Blimey, that is Dier.

Haa been somewhat better from England so far. Sterling had a golden chance to score but the keeper saved it. Foden should have assisted a goal for Kane but his pass was poor. I just don't think Sterling and Foden on the left and right of Kane is working. Just not clicking. Pope has had a couple of heart in the mouth moments. Have a feeling that Germany will go ahead.

Sterling two shots on target but poor really again. Forgot he needs a thousand shots before one goes in.

45 minutes you'll never get back.

It proves what I always said....Sterling's a good player, not a great..

I've never seen a Germany team so bereft of dynamism.

    Rice is wooden.

Sterling is wasteful but still productive contrasted with what Gundogan has offered tonight.

    Tepid stuff.

Nobody moves the ball wide to lesser obvious effect than Declan Rice. He's a graduate of the Jordan Henderson school of prosaic, pointless passing :Jest:

England ragged...Bellingham had two shots there, zero conviction.

I wish GS would show some balls and just take a chance on TAA wide-left with orders to track back when needed.

England would have an obvious outlet plus cover. Right now Bellingham is neither a focus not a provider and Rice is just not mobile enough.

Here comes Mount....probably for Sterling or Foden.

    Maguire at fault again

Quality finish from Havertz. Too much time and space. Too easy.
