Easy draw for City as usual. I expect Arsenal to beat Porto so it would be a disappointment if they don't.

It is an easy draw again for them, but to be fair they did win their group, and all the blame lies with Man U for Copenhagen even being in the draw anyway.

I'm not so sure, not because they're not really good, they obviously are, I just think they'd happily crash out of Europe if it meant winning the Bundesliga. I don't think they have the squad to win both, and the Europa is the one they'd happily sacrifice imo.

I know nobody really takes this comp seriously, and it was an expected win, but I'd hate for City to gain momentum from this win (and likely tournament win) and rattle off their usual 18 victories in a row in the Prem. I'm honestly just so fucking bored of these cunts winning it.

If they win the BL Bayern will buy at least two of their key players.

They would, but I just want Leverkusen to win one, their fans have suffered enough, though something tells me it will be another heartbreak at the end :Jest:

When was the last time they won, did they ever manage it in the early 00s? Itd be great if they did but you just know Bayern will end up easing it....Harry Kane 73 bundesliga goals

They've never won the Bundesliga (only runners up) but they won the Europa once in the 80s'. Also CL runners up too. Hence the "Neverkusen" moniker.

After they lost the CL final to Real Madrid 2-1 they also lost Michael Ballack and the two Brazilians Lucio and Ze Roberto to Bayern.

Either way i like it. I remember when i was a kid the pro wrestling manager and announcer Bobby Heenan used to regularly call the cannon fodder type guys who just went out to get beat up by the stars as Ham and Eggers. :Jest:

Speaking of West Sham there is a pretty good movie called Cass about one of their hooligans based on a true story you might like if you haven't seen it.

If she walked down any street in Britain bar the one she lives on, she'd be recognised by less than 1 in a hundred people she passed. SPOTY past it's sell-by date years ago but this is the year it properly jumped the shark.

It's like Eurovision. It used to be legit highbrow stuff, proper black tie . Now it's a sham. It was really declining when Fury was both snubbing it and being snubbed by it.

It- the SPOTY- serves two main purposes:- TO give legitimacy and import to the most irrelevant of crap, and to act as a trap for idiots who can then be picked off by the usual online mob.

    Enter Joey Barton.

I find it hugely ironic that people who claim to be arguing for women's this and women's that, especially for "women of colour" got around to demanding the mass availability of some replica shirt made in an oriental sweatshop by young girls.

Saved a penalty and said ",fuck off". What a personality. What a personality.

I ended up watching pretty much the whole first half in shawarma king, Irish. With a packed shop of middle easterners plus two pink haired xys in skirts who'd wandered down from the vegan music bar next door. Kulturkamf! How the hell was that not a penalty, even one of the trannies commented on it - 'you're not allowed to do that are you?' Well no, no you're not, sir.
