The time line is just not adding up. Guys get fired all of the time and new manager comes in and sometimes with no experience at the top level (or any?)

So did these guys immediately go into some form of management training post retirement so they can be pre-qualified?

Yeah I've heard a lot say they were "doing their badges" whilst they were still playing, but towards the end of their careers.

We have them in.the US & the only reason I know is on the Everton USA page on Facebook, idiots would start arguing usually after a loss.

"You can't blame Keane for that goal! He was in position. That was Pickford's fault 100%."

"Keane switched off to mark the guy then let him run past him. Watch the replay idiot! That goal is on him!"

Usually stupid shit like that. Then they start arguing about how the others don't know football. Then it starts.

"I am level 3 coaching badge here in Oklahoma!"

"I was level 4 in Iowa then I became a referee. I refereed the American Legion championship in Stankbreath, Arkansas!"

It's only a very small percentage of the members but after every loss these idiots have their battle of expertise. They have all the answers on what the manager should have done.

Ugh. I've found often times people with just a little bit of knowledge or experience are worse than the people with none at all.

Liverpool were really really poor Vs Brighton in that first half. I'm just seeing it now on MOTD.

Listening to podcast about the trouble Man U experienced handling their highly successful ex managers after they had left the role, especially Busby but also to some extent Ferguson..with them hanging around and looming over what followed, sabotaging the transition. What's curious is the contrast with Liverpool, a historically successful club with big managers and a very sentimental club except when it came to ex managers, they were ruthless with Shankly and Paisley - there was a hard understanding that they couldn't be allowed to hang around if succession was to happen

They actually had to approach Shankly and tell him to stop hanging around Melwood. He died a few years later. Not even 70. No reason to go on..

Ferguson was at Old Scaffold today sat in the stands like a malevolent grey owl, scowling and glaring at everything.

Dearly hoping we can scrape a draw tonight and if we do we're in a great position with much more winnable games vs Brugge, Zagreb & Young boys upcoming. 5 points from those 4 games almost certainly keeps us in the tournament. Im writing off villa away...we're a mouse getting lowered into a snake tank squeeeek squeeeek

Opta have Celtic's win/draw/loss probabilities at 35/25/39. Iow: my missus has a 61% chance of getting full sentences out of me over the next three days.

I remember Charlie Adam. Shit players always are happier. I think Salah might still smile.
