Won't be discussed much but there's not a huge difference between Man City and Salford City in terms of their general outlook. They're both hugely contrived machines, one with a lot of money and the other playing a much much longer game.

I sometimes wonder how I'd feel if I was a man city fan. I reckon I'd have packed it in years ago

I reckon Neville and Sons feel the same way too. That's why they've founded Salford City. They know 20 years from now the population will be so high and disenfranchised that their little "working class" circus will be right popular. This will also translate into votes and political appeal. Enter Sir Gareth (no more Gary) Neville, Mayor of the North West, denouncer of propaganda and misinformation.

Really really hoping that the manner of Arsenal's defeat condemns them psychologically to a bad place they can't bounce back from. Not nice sentiments but when you're 1-1 Vs 10 men and you've got a penalty.....finish the job or go to footballing Hades.

After Dyche's dismissal, Leyton Baines (head coach of Everton's under 18s & Seamus Coleman, club captain) co managed the Toffees 2-0 FA Cup win at home against Peterborough.

David Moyes was hired on Saturday. He'll return to Goodison Park after leaving the club in 2013.

That was looking dicey but draws (I know) for Forest,City and Chelsea mean Liverpool have negotiated a very very tricky period unscathed.

He should have taken a touch and steadied himself. Snatched at them. Got away with it. In a stronger league he gets found out. Keeper needs to look at himself there.

One thing I really admire about Nunez is he just keeps going and going. He doesn't dwell on missed chances and hide, which is fortunate because he misses A LOT.

Yeah he channels Crazy Horse ethos, keeps swinging, keeps trying..... he's as big and athletic as Nordic Humble Boy but he's just lacking the finishing. Tbh I would never swap him because you can't get guys like him easily. Just make sure there's an actual goalscorer like Jota or Saleh alongside him.

Yep. The guy at the BBC says there was an audible sigh at The Emirates when the first Nunez goal went in. It's the sort of goal that United used to get a lot.

Cup games up here are usually better because teams roll the dice a bit more rather than parking the bus 20 yards out. Killie played so high that celtic had the opportunity to counter attack at pace 5 or 6 times. Should've scored more but credit to killie for making a football match of it

Same thing yesterday. Long may it continue. If this were 2019/2020 Liverpool I wouldn't need to say that.

Looks like the wholly overrated Daniel Farke and scummy Leeds will be back in the Premier soon enough.

Some guy died there yesterday, overshadowed by the Denis Law departure, and a list of his career achievements involved getting Dundee United into the Top 4 (there are, it seems, Top 4s and then there are Top 4s) and getting a draw with Bayern Munich.

I love when a corner is whipped in and some Randomer in the crowd just roars "AWAY!!" like he was dismissing evil spirits or trying to get crows off his lawn.
