Didn't think they had it in them, great to be wrong. Real showed up assuming it would just happen. Still, three goals at Bernabei is well in reach, especially if they score early.

Do you think Arsenal will still "not press the issue" in the league?

Everton have played well against the top teams all year. Draws with Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle, two draws with Arsenal, a drew and a close loss to Liverpool. We got shitkicked by Spurs and Man U. Lost twice to Southampton, lost three times to Bournemouth including one match where we were leading 2-0 in the 87th minute.

Some loser fans waited to the team at the train station after the 4-0 loss at Spurs.

Of course the only player to talk back to the idiots was Maupey who is the most hated player on the squad.

The full back lad had a good smile on him after the third but yeah generally black/mixed-race footballers need to lighten the fuck up, pardon the pun. I really don't see what the problem is.

They were both superb strikes. Mad to think they're the only two free kicks he's ever scored. I'd just stop taking them after that, you're never going to beat them.

Things I really miss about not doing England trips any more:

    The pubs
    Real ale
A full English -my tradition was to order the vegetarian full English then read the Mirror sports page at a table by the window with a pint. Jimmy met me a couple of times for this at The Moon Under Water
    Castles
    Cathedrals
    More pubs
    Betting shops
Coming back to the betting shop with a winner
Tons of walking while I was there
    Everton matches
    My usual three star hotels
The trains -I'm more familiar with Lime Street Station and Euston Station then I'll ever be with any station here
    Late night take away
    British TV
And last but not least more pubs

The sausage tasted so much like real sausage I had to half jokingly ask the barmaid if that was really a vegetarian breakfast.

She said, "Yes the sausage is Quorn."

    Me: Corn?

    Her: Yes it's Quorn.

I thought I was missing something there. No way that was made of corn. At the time, the term "Quorn" meant nothing to me but since then they even sell Quorn products at my local grocery store.

In fairness to that venerable Irishman Wellington, his best known wins were on the European mainland Vs Whitey.

No. Arsenal will be 13 points behind with 18 to play for.

    18 is more than 13.

Thank you for playing. Please insert coin and press START.

    J/K

If Liverpool win tomorrow it basically means Arsenal simply don't have the wriggle room.

Even a draw at Anfield would doom them. Liverpool basically have a GD equivalent that is worth a point in and of itself.
