I wonder how many years it's going to take before the sense of entitlement disappears. The fans acknowledge how shit they are but still act surprised and outraged when they get done in by one of the best sides in the world for some reason.

 

I actually kinda see where theyre coming from tbh. We've gotten the 'entitlement' accusation plenty recently but I think it's only fair to judge your own club's performance vs other club's with similar resources & feel like if you're nowhere near them something's far wrong inside your club. Which it certainly is inside Man Utd!

 

I understand the frustration given the resources vs the outcomes, but there is a difference between Celtic losing regularly to mid-table or even second tiered clubs and getting done in 3-0 by a Real Madrid.

 

Man Utd regularly getting outplaced in the prem by Brighton, Bournemouth & Celtic in uefa coefficient ratings by Bodo Glint, USG, AZ alkmaar feels like a roughly equivalent level of underperformance/rolling embarrassment.
