and I call that someone who is blinded by Manny's nuts. I mean seriously, I am a PBF fan but want Manny to win if they fight.

The bottom line on Cotto/Pacquiao/Margarito is that they are Bob Arum fighters and he wanted nothing to do with PBF outside of a Margarito fight when PBF was going to fight Baldomir. Margarito had barely done anything at that point in time but beat Cintron ONCE.

Bob Arum is the reason they never fought PBF, not PBF.

:rolleyes: Cotto, Pac, even Margarito have fought fighters from other promotional companies...so please...MAYWEATHER is the problem here..NOT the other fighters. Mayweather wanted to fight Cotto at 140 where he looked weak and vulnerable...as soon as he made the jump to 147 and look good...then he had to leave his promoter..to make the fight happen.

Pacquiao "OLYMPIC style drug testing...or no fight!!!"

Cotto "Leave your promoter and then we can fight!!! I'm my own man, what about you Cotto? :boring:"

Mayweather "Straight up son..i'm scared I don't want to fight you"

Here's the funny thing about Floyd groupies, they want to give Floyd credit for Manny's victories. In other words they think since Manny beat all those top 147 guys that Floyd doesn't have to fight them now.

Wrong! Floyd still should be criticised for not fighting Clottey, Margarito, Cotto, and especially Pacquiao. He needs to fight one of those guys. If not he needs to take on a bigger challenge such as Martinez or even Williams.

Does anyone believe Floyd would do that? Of course not, even his groupies expect he'd take on someone like Malignaggi as a tuneup first.

Uuuuuh, Floyd "Weight Jumped" to Fight Dela...Whereas Pac Fought Dela a Weight he HADN'T Made in a DECADE....Moreso, Pac Actually MOVED DOWN from a "Weight Jump", to Face Hatton...Not Sure how ANY of that is "Counterbalanced"...

Floyd Fought a Sugar Shane that had just WIPED his Ass w/Margarita (Supposedly THE Most FEARED Man in Boxing, Back Then)...Pac is Fighting a Sugar Shane that ARGUABLY LOST 2 Consecutive Fights...Shane Got a DRAW vs. Mora Off of REPUTATION Moreso than what he Actually Did DURING the Fight...

HUGE Difference in the Version's of Mosley that Each Man will have Fought, if Pac-Mosley Comes to Fruition...

Hatton's the 1 that WANTED the Fight to B @ 147, so he'd have his Jr. Welter Title to Fall Back on...It's NOT Like Floyd DEMANDED Hatton Come up to 147, so it's POINTLESS for Floyd Naysayers to ACT as if he Did...

Again, the Fight Happened @ the Weight that Hatton HIMSELF Requested...

And you admittedly were/are the same way with Roy Jones so what's the problem? By the way I'm no longer a Shane groupie, you know since he's shot and all.

Come on. If Floyd wanted those guys, he could have fought them. Why didnt he fight Cotto at 147? Why not Margarito, why not clottey, why not williams. He didnt want any tough fights. Hatton wasnt a tough fight at 140. You saw what fucking collazo did to him at 147.

Come on man. He beat Margarito. Good for him. Margarito was also fucked in the head that fight. Maybe it wouldnt have made a difference, maybe it would have WHO KNOWNS. What i do know is that prior to that, Mosely lost to Miguel Cotto and went life and death with mayorga who was giving him the business. MAYORGA. i will say it again, he went 12 rounds with fucking Mayorga. MAYORGA.

6 Rounds, if REED's Not Mistaken...Considering Mayorga Went like 8 or 9 Rounds w/Tito Trinidad, the Popular Presumption was that Mayorga Would @ Least Put Forth a GOOD Fight, En Route to Losing a Decision...Instead, Dela DROPPED Mayorga in the Very 1st Round (Something that Shocked EVERYBODY) & Beat the Shit Out him even MORE Impressively than Trinidad did...

No, Mayorga Wasn't a Career Defining Win for DeLa, but it WAS a Significant Win...If NOT for that Win, REED Seriously DOUBTS Dela vs Floyd would've Set a PPV Record....

REED Will Agree w/the "WHO KNOWS" Part of your Post as Opposed to ASSuming Margarita was "Fucked in the Head" for the Mosley Fight....Mosley Lost a CLOSE Fight to Cotto & S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D Mayorga, Unlike ANYBODY Else Ever has...U "Conveniently" Left Out that Tidbit....

After the tito fight mayorga's chin wasnt the same. Mayorga wasnt putting for the Good effort and i know you didnt think he would. Fucking trinidad was outboxing his ass. What did you expct DLH to do t him. Dont even sit here and try to debate a win against Mayorga is significant. You dont even beleive this.

Mayorga went life and death Mayorga man:Giggle: Yeah he beat in the end. If he didnt, he should retired. Considering mayorga wasnt the same after tito. Definately wasnt the same after DLH and went 12 rounds with shot vargas:lol: the fact that mosely was getting tagged frequently by this man and was struggling the whole fight shows you exactly were mosley was at that stage of his career.

Why Not???...Mayorga Put Forth a Good Effort vs. Tito...Moreso, that Fight Took Place @ 160, so Moving BACK DOWN to 154 Seemed like a Good Move...EVERYBODY "Outboxed" Mayorga....@ NO Point did Dela EVER Punch as Hard as Trinindad, so when U Factor in the 8-9 Rounds Mayorga Lasted w/Tito, there was EVERY Reason to Expect him to Put Forth ANOTHER Good Effort vs. Dela...

NOBODY Expected Dela to Drop Mayorga on his Ass in the Very 1st Round & Make him his BITCH for the Remainder of the Fight, Before Stopping him EARLIER than Trinidad Did...

REED DOESN'T Even Believe This???...Whatever U Say, "Argument Police"...

Ah!!!...U're 1 of those that Believes Trinidad "Ruined" EVERYBODY...Got It!!!...In the REAL WORLD, Mayorga had One of THE BEST Chins in Boxing @ the Time of the Tito Fight...There was ZERO Evidence to Suggest he "Wasn't the Same" After Tito...More like WISHFUL THINKING on the Part of Tito Fans...

Tito put a beating on Mayorga for 8 rounds. His connect rate was over 60%. Tito was outboxing Mayorga. Did you think DLH wasnt going to make Mayorga look like a fucking child? Again, you dont believe what you are typing. Mayorga

Whichful thinking? More like fucking saw it with my own eyes. Obviously no one could know for sure but when you saw DLH (who you admitted doesnt punch harder than Tito) drop mayorga with 1 punch, its clear the damange was done. You dont agree? Seriously you dont agree with this?

Judging by many of the posts in this thread, people have started to take Pacquiao for granted.

Actually trying to downplay his wins at the higher weights and dissect his resume, even acting like Floyd's is comparable.

What Pacquiao has done at 140 and 147 is unique. He's the only person in boxing history not just to traverse such a huge range of weight classes and beat bigger men, but to absolutely dominate these bigger men and make them look like they don't belong in the same ring as him.

It's not like he's winning controversial safety first decisions over them, he's beating the fuck out of them.

Taking him for granted and trying to downplay ANY of his recent wins is downright insane.

First of all, he has done nothing at 140 and 147, more like 150, 146, 142 1/2, 144...

He didn't go 12 rounds with him. He KO'd him in the 12th. Going 12 rounds means the 12th round gets completed.

I would give Manny as much credit for you if he wasn't draining guys down to catch weights and fighting them coming off poor form. The last time Manny fought a guy with momentum was Marquez at 130.
