This is completely correct. The term 'blown up .....weight' is overused and in most cases inaccurate. Floyd is definitely a true welter now.
He probably can, but what for? The big fights are all above 140. He's a small-ish to average sized welterweight, but it's where he's competing, so he should be taking on top welterweights. Pacquiao's an exception and fighting him is fine but he should definitely follow it up with a top welterweight.
I consider Floyd a welterweight especially since he himself does. You don't get to yell out how you're the best welterweight in the world and then get excused for not fighting there because you feel you're too small. Floyd has a good frame for holding welterweight size and if he isn't filling into the division it's because he keeps bitching up and fighting smaller guys at lower weights. If he would stay at 147 and actually fight people there he would fill in and be used to that weight better. I feel Floyd is more a welterweight than Berto or Judah.
Floyd is a fantastically skilled fighter for sure. But he is fucking gay and anyone who likes this punk is also gay.
U're RIGHT about Judah & WRONG about Berto...Berto is Floyd's Height yet MUCH THICKER in the Upper Body...Berto Fought @ 152 in the Olympics, if REED's Not Mistaken AND he's Fought a Handful of Times @ Jr. Middle as a Pro... REED:hammert:
Floyd is a WW, when he is the headline and has the upperhand in negotiations he always chooses to fight at 147, like he did against Marquez. That's the weight he feels most comfortable at since he chose it while clearly having the option of weighing less like he did against Marquez.
