I don't know what's funny about it. Pavlik and Miranda were the top two contenders when they fought eachother. Miranda was the favorite over Pavlik.
Hahaha, is that the best you can do? Accuse me of being 12 or 13? You pathetic half-man. I bet you have a small, shrivelled penis and wear glasses. I am in my mid twenties, and I've been watching boxing since I was a kid, I know more about boxing than you without a shadow of a doubt. It's not even close actually. You are one level above DMAN :: The difference between you and DMAN is, DMAN probably thought Miranda was the champion, and you just thought he was the division's #1.
The point is, you were wrong, end of story. Miranda was not ranked #1 at middleweight, but you've admitted you were wrong, so it's ok. He was considered a top middleweight, of course, but not #1.
That's all you have? More childish insults? Thanks for proving my point. I proved that Miranda was indeed at the top of the division at the time he faced Pavlik. What have you proven?
That you were wrong by calling Miranda the #1 of the division. By the way, you started the insults, or are you too braindead to remember? ::
But he was the favorite to beat #1 ranked Pavlik. I was wrong about his ranking but not by much. You know as well as I do that he was considered by many and the best at 160 at that time.
I'm not arguing that he was considered one of the best. He was, for sure. And many people had him beating Arab ham. BUT - he was not considered THE best by anyone, and wasn't ranked as #1 either. That's all. It's not being petty, it's just that there IS a significant difference between being a top middleweight, and the #1 middleweight.
It wasn't an insult Z :tease: You started the insults after this, and actually, I was very upset. You hurt my feelings and it's put a downer on my evening so far. I'm going to eat some chocolate and ice cream for comfort.
No, I didn't say he was THE #1 MW. That would be Taylor at that time, if I was talking about THE man at MW I would have said that was Taylor. I was talking about the #1 contender and you know that. You are being petty no doubt.
Yes it was. I cried twice even. Dude, I'm not here to insult you so let's stop with that stuff. Not only that but I am deeply offended that you say I am anything like DMAN. Take it back now or I'll e-kick yer ass. ::
Actually I'm not. I thought you meant the MAN at middleweight, the #1 middleweight in the world. And I think Tam thought the same thing. In this day and age where you have a plethora of belt holders, the best in the division is often not even a belt holder, or at least the best in the division is one of many :: If you'd have said the #1 contender to the crown, or the WBC's #1 etc I would have taken it as that, but when you said #1 I thought you meant the best in the division. If people say "so so and so is the division's #1" the generally mean, they are the best in the division. Hence the confusion.
I have the r-b-r somewhere at home. I know that after 5, I had it 3-2 Quartey, Quartey clearly won the 6th with the 2 KDs, won rounds 7 thru 9, DLH won round 10, Quartey round 11, and DLH 10-8 for the 12th.
