im not so sure, froch will punch back when abraham is punching. it'll be interesting to see how abraham will react to that.

i can see that one going to a split decision to be honest. the way AA fights is terrible. he doesnt look for the ko, if he gets it bonus. he's too busy acting like a fucking turtle.

I'll pick Frock by decision.

 

You both will be sorely disappointed when Froch is on his back counted out. Froch is too easy to hit, and his chin is extremely overrated. AA will skull fuck him. AA is the bigger puncher, has the better chin, is physically stronger, and has a much better defense. ALL Froch has over him is height.

 

Stylistically Froch matches up well with AA, provided Froch isn't damaged goods after the beating Kessler will hand out to him, he could take AA on points.

 

Yeah, because Froch is such a good technical boxer, with defensive skill.

BTW - Froch is hilarious. He said he wont fight AA in germany because of the "questionable judging" when he's the one who got a questionable decision last night. Oh the irony.

 

Froch won that fight hands down.
It was close but clear, Dirrell ran too much and gave away too many rounds.

 

Well if it was hands down then the MAJORITY of writers, forums, and even the two BRITISH commentators wouldnt have had Dirrell winning. But they did.

 

One of the British 'commentators' was Jon Thaxton. Dude is a little punchy nowadays, so his opinion is to be treated with caution.

The other is a fool. This is the same guy who described Taylor as having 'schooled' Froch, literally two minutes before he KHTFO. Anyone who didn't think that Froch had won AT LEAST five rounds in the fight doesn't know what the hell they are talking about.

My feelings on Abraham are well known, but he is a country mile better than Froch. Froch is awful. If feather fisted Jermain could hurt him, Abraham who has average power will take him out. You only like Froch because he is a countryman. He is at best a bottom level worlds class fighter and that is debateable. Abraham will win no matter where the fight is. I have often said Abraham is one of the worst titleholders ever. Froch may even be worse, shockingly.

The Abraham KO reminded mE of Toney vs Prince Charles Williams. One guy had taken over a competitive fight that looked destined to go to the cards....and BAM!

Yeah Direll had Crotch hurt in the fight. Direll was throwing too much straight punches he should have let his hooks and uppercuts go more. Crotch has an overated chin.

 

Yup. Dirrell has alot of physical talent, but a low ring IQ. In that respect he's similar to Zab. If he had walked Froch into some uppercuts, he coulda done SERIOUS damage to Froch. Froch's chin is VERY overrated. AA will hit him at will, and eventually stretch him. I wouldnt be one bit surprised if Abraham-Froch was a replay of the Abrham-Miranda rematch.

How well he does depends on how badly he loses, and he will lose, to Kessler. If he doesn't get too much of a beating he could give AA hell. Just matches up well with him.

 

I'd better point out, I don't like Frock. In fact I had been calling him a bum for months, and saying he stood no chance against Calzaghe.

I also picked Pascal AND Taylor over him, and rooted for them both to beat him.

But he did win me over a bit with those 2 wins. Nothing to do with him being a countryman, I just respect toughness and determination, and it was those 2 attributes alone that have got him the win in his last 3 fights.

Frock against Arabham is more or less a pick em fight. Neither of them are very good. But Frock throws more punches, and I hate Arabham, so I'll pick Frock ::

Even if they fought NOW, I'd pick AA by brutal stoppage. Kessler is a terrible matchup for Froch, but Abraham is a WORSE one. Whoever scheduled the tourney has it out for Froch. They figured if Dirrell didnt get him, they would ENSURE he fails by matching him w/Kess and AA.

 

Kessler is by far a worse match up for Froch than AA. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Froch is a cert to beat him or anything, in fact AA should be favourite, but Froch has a realistic chance in that fight and I have no doubt he will be competitive, primarily because AA gives rounds away early. Kessler will fuck Froch up though, and as I said, how much of a beating he takes in that fight will determine just how competitive he ends up being vs AA.

 

to me Abraham and Froch are about the same and the fight is a toss up.

as far as Abraham was spectacular against Taylor well Froch took Taylor out quicker as I recall. So Abraham hasn't donte anything special by koing this version of Taylor.

again the fight is a toss up and should end in a KO!
