He needs Sven Ottke's ref and to decapitate Oscar and then he needs to kick the head out of the ring so they can't find it.

yes sir, he'll take DLH's power and onslaught early, get DLH out to 6-7 rounds.. get DLH to slow and Stevie will just be warmin up.. and put on a display and a beating until the ref/doc/ or DL's corner stops it :cheer: :cheer:

Oscar's going to beat him up so bad - his own momma wont take him back.

So Dela being the kind hearted soul that he is, will take the guy in give him a job around the house making tea, polishing dela's belts etc etc... all this on one condition he'll have to wear the fishnets.

I haven't seen folks this passionate since they were convinced Cotto was looking past Gomez.

I am just waiting on the "My cousin has picked the outcome of the last 10 major fights down to the exact round, and he says Forbes is going to win this one" thread.

what about Delahoya vs. Gatti? At least Forbes has skills that can make it interesting. :dunno:

DeLa was Still a Relatively ACTIVE Fighter Then, who was Coming Off of a LOSS...

& REED Knew Gatti would @ Least Make that Fight FUN to Watch, Which he Did...

Forbes is SMALLER than Gatti, LESS POWERFUL than Gatti & DeLa is a Promoter who MOONLIGHTS as a Boxer...

This would B Like Bernard Hopkins Setting Up a Fight w/Kassim Ouma as a "Tune-Up" to a RE w/Calzaghe...Actually, DeLa-Forbes is WORSE...

    REED:cool:

Oscar is going to get saved by the ref on the ropes. Forbes is going to crush the Golden Gay.

Raffy Marquez was on the Undercard (vs. Some Scrub Named Frissina) & he's 1 of REED's Faves...

But @ Least Margarita WIPED Kyvelos Out...DeLa-Forbes is Gonna B BORING, Cause DESPITE his RIDICULOUS Edge N SIZE, DeLa's Gonna Fight like HE'S the Smaller Man:rolleyes: ...

It's Gonna B PATHETIC Watching 5'5, 130lb Forbes CHASING DeLa Around the Ring....

Well, that was when HBO supposedly owed Arum for using some Top Rank footage on the Legendary Nights series w/out authorization.

I think Merchant labeled it "garbage" during the broadcast...hard to argue with that.

I agree that I'm not that interested in the fight.

I'm a little interested in seeing what version of DLH shows up, but there's certainly no intrigue as to the outcome. DLH's already written down in pen on the scorecards.

To be honest, the most interesting thing about this fight is the venue.

It's been a while since a fight of this magnitude was held in the open air in the U.S.

With more seats and discounted prices, it's a shame it doesn't happen more often.

Wasn't there talk about Pavlik in an open air fight in Ohio?
