You think Ray was a much harder puncher than Manny at 147? I'm not convinced the difference is so pronounced.

Nope. It's the truth, which I know you are not a fan of.

Oh, look. You said "Clearly" again. I guess that makes it 3 times more "true".

This is absurd...fighters fought 50+ rounds...we've never seen Pac past the 12th round.

In a 12 round fight Conn beats Louis. Hearns beats Leonard the first time out...Robinson beats Maxim.

To make this claim is absurd Sly.

    Ok...

    1. not including 50+ round fighters in this
    2. 50+ round fighters didn't fight at the pace that pac fights at
    3. fighting "only" 12 rounds doesn'tmean he couldn't fight 15 rounds. judging by how fresh he is after 12 rounds, three more rounds would hardly be unattainable for him.

Suddenly Ray Leonard is a huge puncher?

Ray, by his own admission, was a solid puncher but not a big puncher. leonard's punch power increases with every year after his retirement.

Pacman is a legitimate hard puncher at 140-147lbs. Look at the way he bounced Cotto off the canvas like a basketball...look at the one punch KTFO of Hatton.

Come on man. Leonard is the better and greater Welterweight, without question, but Pacquiao has the harder punches.

yep ,manny is a decent pucher, but he,s more of a sneaky pucher. The only guys he really koed recently is hatton. He landed about a million times on dlh, without seriously hurting him. Dlh would be in a coma if it was Leonard hitting him with all these shots.

    Leonard would destroy manny

people are really over-rating Pac IMO..

he is fast yes.. very fast feet and hands are fast.. but his fast hands are kind of wild, where as Ray and even more so Floyd, are super fast and pinpoint accurate, delievering a punch to a point you want to with perfect time is different than flaling your arms around like a amature
