Then this whole thing makes sense, even with the precious time not considered... or the special role of this thing and their high expectations to build a franchise that is able to rival Marvel's.

Well, 'Suicide Squad just passed the $700 million worldwide gross, something that honestly not even its hardcore fans thought possible three weeks ago. It has grossed so far $307.8 million domestically and is very close to beat the domestic numbers of 'Iron-Man', 'Iron-Man 2' and probably even 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. If the DC/WB film accomplishes THAT, it can be considered a success no matter what the final numbers are. Any film that grosses over $700 million worldwide cannot be viewed as a failure. Maybe it could have made MORE if the film was better, but for such a badly reviewed film these are amazing numbers.

Same as 'Deadpool': it would have made $1 billion most likely.

Ana De Armas is a great beauty. She was the best thing about that Keanu Reeves film 'Knock, Knock". I hope they cast her in the Game of Thrones prequel as Ilyanna Stark.

Let me put it this way: the film sold an astounding amount of movie tickets which made theater chain owners very happy. Many fans loved it regardless what their own brains were telling them. The only ones losing money is the investors. In view of these numbers it will be wise to make a sequel...at a lower budget and hire someone else to direct it, keep the marketing moderate and no freaking reshoots.

Okay this film is sort of like the Energizer Bunny and keeps going and going. It has now surpassed the domestic and worldwide grosses of Marvel's Iron-Man AND Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the best reviewed Marvel film! Now is on its path to also beat the records of 'Guardians of The Galaxy'. It seems that DC fans took seriously their pledge to watch this film multiple times so the DC Cinematic Universe can keep going. I wonder how many times Rainmaker has purchased movie tickets to keep his faithful contributions flowing toward WB's bank account.:hmm:

Lol at watching a film multiple times to give a company a successful film. The so called D.C. Conspiracy is hilarious.

Still haven't seen this yet and now the word is there will be a directors cut with all those Joker scenes they cut out in either Nov or Dec for the DVD and blue ray release. So I guess I'll just wait until then.

Why the hell would you cut out Joker scenes? These dimwits deserve to fail.

Man, I went to a friend's gathering and he had SS playing (illegal download). Anyway just going off of what I saw catching it in the middle and seeing about twenty minutes and a decent amount of action scenes I decided I'm not watching this shit.

Finally watched this. The extended cut. It was ...ok.

Harley Quinn was eyecandy and I was concerned that I'd hate the 'zany crazy girl' character. I didn't in the end because she had a few good lucid moments. A pleasant surprise.

I liked the Diablo character. Yeah it was pretty corny that he played the pacifist but I think it meshed well in this film. When he finally becomes 'what he is' I was happy with that. Looked pretty good and I'd have liked to see more of him.

Captain Bland was boring as shit for the most part but once he broke his bomb gadget he got a little more interesting. Bland as fuck though.

The worthless, useless cunt that plays the worthless useless cunt character was shit again then again he is shit in everything he does so no surprise.

Enchantress looked cool at times but what was up with the interpretive dance moves while talking?

Letos Joker. Meh. I wouldn't be adverse to seeing more. Ledger was better. Jack too. We'll see if he measures up when given his own film.

I liked Will Smith's character. I don't think he played Deadshot, he played a guy that is apparently a villain but not really. It's a recurring theme.

These guys don't feel like villains. Not at all. Just unorthodox heroes. Really could have done with them going darker with these characters. It's an irony that Superman and Batman have a higher body count than these 'villains'.

Forget the rest, they barely get any screentime so why would we care?

Odds and ends. Weird musical choices. Hadn't heard K7 in ages so I was surprised to hear it albeit in a scene that Solely exists to have a zany Quinn section.

Batman cameo. Liked it. Want to see more as Batman is a character that actually fits in a dark gritty world. Not Superman ffs!

Amanda Waller. Undecided. I disliked the character but I'm supposed to. I didn't like the actress much.

All in all, the most likeable of the new D.C. Films. I'm in no rush to watch it again but it wasn't shit.

Left out my favorite part. Flashback of Harley chasing the Joker on a bike. The scene where she's looking in his window he notices her and sighs and covers his face: laugh out loud funny. We've all had that reaction to a woman at one time or another.

I watched this film like a month ago and got so bored with the stupid plot lifted from 'Ghostbusters' that it felt more like a chore watching it. Not bad a film, but not a good one either. Just so-so. Leto's Joker can't hold a candle to Nicholson nor Ledger...nor Romero! Harley got so many booty shots that it was obvious she was there mainly to strut her ass. Very disappointing in comparison to the cartoon version. This is a by-the-numbers movie that I have no desire whatsoever to watch again. Ever. 5/10
