Thanks for putting up a prize, steve_dave.
    .
My vote is for not having entrants pay to get in. I'd rather be the king of many. :tease:

    I'm in.
I'd also be happy to send an 'authentic' irish prize one month if that helps or the 25 bucks as suits

Looking good so far, fellas. Do we wanna get a mini version up and running for the remainder of the month, before starting for real in June, or what?

isn't that the same - shouldn't the perfect pick be the correct round??? And what's with UDs and MDs SDs and so on??

    Rules ain't clear so far...

I was thinking the same thing. You randomly get extra point or 2 if you correctly pick early or late etc

There are no exact round picks, and I believe a decision win is a decision win no matter if it's a UD, SD or MD.

This is basically the same rules from the old Boxing.com contest from back in the day.

    No.

Like a KO, you can pick different types of decision. WIDE = a unanimous decision or CLOSE = less than 4 point margin on two of the three cards.

The rules and points completely suck and are ambiguous and have many gaps in the scoring (ex the 'extra point' for getting the early-mid-late is actually an extra 3 points because you can't get it without getting the "perfect pick)

But i'm still in, and I plan to win it all.

Tam Tam, why don't you just fill out a bunch of hypotheticals like this so everyone can see how the scoring works. I like how you've got it set up, but it is less than obvious what is going on. If you rather, I'll set up the hypos and try to cover the bases. Your call.

It is possible to have a split decision or majority decision that does not fit within these criteria, btw.

I understand that. It's done like that, so as to minise the risks associated with a shitty decision.

So 116-112 x 2 and 112-116 is still classed as a wide decision. When I formed these rules, I took votes on this kind of stuff and this is what we ended up with.

Sorry I ddint get back to you earlier about the hypotheticals. Im happy to answer anything you want, man.
