Haha, now they are trying to shame fans and blame them for those shitty PPVs bombing Just incredible...
There are no bad businesses, only bad customers. I haven't gone to business school but that's probably what they teach.
I’m in Canada, and anytime I’ve tried to buy a PPV I’m met with an endless wall of misdirections, dead links, ‘not available in your region’, ‘this requires a cable subscription’, to the point eventually the only way to watch is use a stream. Nevermind the obnoxious prices. At times I’ve spent solid 30+ minutes trying to get a ppv before giving up and having a stream running in less than 5. If it wasn’t so damn inaccessible outside of the US…
I'm gonna be honest, this sounds more realistic. I was pretty shocked by the 67,000 number, because I know quite a few friends who ordered it, just by seeing their Facebook posts. I had a hard time believing that the number was that low considering the amount of casuals who appeared to order. @Neil what number do you think Tank vs Ryan hits?
So Tank vs Rolly did pretty close to 300k buys, and Ryan is probably MORE than twice as popular as Rolly. You add to that the buildup will be big, the trash talk, and the fact that they'll be a lot of mainstream coverage: I think Tank vs Ryan generates 700-750k buys. I don't think that's unrealistic.
I'd be surprised. Ryan is so much bigger a star than Rolly, I don't see how he does only 100k more. I don't know if it ends early, but I do expect Ryan to be sleep in the end.
Garcia hasn't sold any ppvs to make me a believer that he's a star. We shall see Regardless it's more about the death of ppv than the matchups these days
Tank-Ryan negotiations have stalled, and its Haymon's fault. Firstly, there's only a rematch clause for Davis. If Ryan loses, there's nothing. If Tank's fat ass loses, he can activate a rematch. PBC is already the lead promoter for this fight, and they ALSO wanna be the lead promoter for a rematch, should Tank lose. Oscar wants to be the lead promoter should there be a rematch, and I can't even fault Oscar for that. He's in the right to request that. Haymon, PBC, and Tank are fucking jokes. I'm sick of them. I hope Ryan hospitalizes Tank.
Fucking disgusting. Peace treaties between nations and corporate mergers gets signed easier than boxing matches.
Yeah, i dont mind ryan not having a rematch clause and tank having one. He's the big star and favorite in this one, so it make sense. But PBC asking to be the promoter of a rematch is absolutely bonker
I was asked if I could remove three things from the world, what would they be. My answer was Social Media, Furries and My Little Sister. Fuck it, Gracie can stay let's get rid of boxing promotors.
Garcia ain't winning. These faggets know it's a cash out, and now they're finding excuses not to take the fight
I'm no Oscar fan, but I don't see what's so unreasonable about it. Garcia's chances aren't good, but in the unlikely case he does win, Golden Boy should be get to be the lead promoter in a rematch.
ryan isn't some unknown. this negotiation was always going to be tough because both guys are draws and have a lot to lose. i don't think a rematch clause either way is unreasonable. but i agree, the further requirement that pbc promote the rematch is all the evidence i need that they are the ones to blame if this fight doesn't happen. and it will be no surprise when you consider tank's very unimpressive resume at this point.
Ryan's like 5 years younger than Tank. We're talking about a guy in Tank who OPENLY admitted in an interview that he ducked Loma. I'm sure he did so unintentionally, but it still came out because his IQ is incredibly low and he didn't realize he was telling on himself.
Fuck garcia. 7 years into his career and he has faced 1 top 10 opponent. Davis won a legit title 3 years into his career, garcia is yet to do so in twice as long
This is true, and again, I doubt the kid can win. But the fact remains, IF he wins, Golden Boy should control the rematch.

You’re Underestimating the Impact of Social Media, Bruh… Instagram PAYS Ryan Garcia to Post on their Platform, Literally…Simultaneously, Instagram PAYS Ryan Garcia NOT to Post on Twitter, Literally… Garcia Has MORE Than 9Million IG Followers, Mostly Screaming, TeenyBopping Females, But Just Like Bitches Did w/DeLa 25-30 Years Ago, a Good % of That Fanbase WILL Come Out to See King Ry Live in Person or on PPV at the Very Least… It’s Like the Jake Paul Affect; Paul Had NO “Boxing Audience” to Speak Of, But His YouTube Audience Followed Him to Boxing… Won’t Be Any Different w/Ryan Garcia, as Looooong as he’s WINNING… REED
you think all these social media follower are buying PPVs? if anything theyre the more savvy when it comes to pirating shit. what did jake paul sell vs silva? 200k? im not impressed
Of Course All Social Media Followers AREN’T Buying PPV’s, But You’re Being NAIVE or Willfully IGNORANT if You Really Think a Motherfucker with 9MILLION IG Followers Won’t Get a Segment of Them to Watch Him Fight… And He’s Fighting Tank Davis No Less, Who By Today’s Non-Canelo Standards Draws Pretty Well on PPV and @ the Live Gate… Jake Paul Has Yet to Face an Actual Boxer, Yet You’re Telling REED His Fight w/Silva did MORE PPV Buys Than ANY Terence Crawford PPV Has. That’s Because of the Built-In Audience Paul Already Had from YouTube… Ryan Garcia Has a Built-In Audience as Well. Yes, a Bunch of Them Will Pirate the Fight, But Tank vs King Ry is Fight Watching Party Worthy, and People Typically Order the PPV Outright When Going That Route… Don’t Get it Twisted, Tank-King Ry Won’t Break ANY PPV Records, But It’ll Do Good Numbers, if, If, IF It Actually Comes to Fruition… REED
