Nice win by Tank. Took care of business. Not a bad fight. Rolly came to fight just outclassed as expected. BTW what's up with Jim Gray getting all political. It's obvious Tank meant no disrespect towards the shooting victims. Jim can be such an asshole.
Tank power/speed/reflexes…at times it look like he was running away from Rolly. And Rolly clumsiness…. yeah the judges having Tank up were shitz. Rolly should’ve been up 4-1…3-2 at worse.
Did you? I wasn't scoring rds but if I had to guess it was a close fight with Tank slightly ahead. To me that's what seperates Tank from guys like Rolly. His ability to close the show. I think Tank was setting him up. That's why I think Rolly got out classed. He never saw that punch coming. Tank did the something with Barrios. Tank is not just a slugger he has an underrated boxing iq. But He does seem to struggle with rangy fighters. Guys like Haney and Stevenson would give him all kinds of trouble but than again he has that one punch knockout power.
As expected, far more worth it than the Canelo-Bivol borefest... guess it wasn't a "weird" thing to order after all...
You could see that Rolly was gonna lunge in with his chin in the air at some stage. I had Rolly up by 1 Rd but you could see a left hand coming up.
Yeah, I knew he was gonna walk into something eventually, but he did make it interesting. Buzzed Tank a few times. He would have battered Garcia tonight. Ryan doesn't have the freak power to end Rolly's night with one shot.
Rolly's never gonna be a championship level guy, but he's also no bum. He can serve as a dangerous gatekeeper imo. Legit guys will get past him, but Rolly will expose guys who can't fight.
I didnt enjoy it at all honestly. Had a great stream tooo Looked like 2 guys hesitant of each other's power and then a decent round and then it ended Far more enjoyment watching Alvarez get beat up
I got the feeling tonight that Showtime is grooming Rayo Valenzuela as a future Tank opponent. I hope Rayo isn't rushed, because he sure af aint ready for Tank yet. Still needs prob 2 years before he's ready for that level.
Yup. Rolly is gonna draw alot of interest. Talks shit, has power, brings it, knockoutable, gets crowds going. Even if he doesn’t belt up he could be in a handful of big money fights before his career is up.
He's not getting any better - Shakur and Haney will. Tank aint gonna age like Hopkins, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. At 27, he's at his zenith, and he needs to get at these guys now.
For me, Davis upsets Loma. Mainly because he's not at such a size and range disadvantage. Loma's not Whitaker, he does eat shots. I think he'll be outboxing Davis for a time, then boom... game over. If I'm team Tank, I like his odds against Loma more than I do a huge guy like Shakur or Haney.
Rolly did as well against Tank as Washington did against Wilder. Fair play, it's more than I expected. He ain't no gatekeeper though. Unless you think Martinez is an elite talent coz he won damn near every round. Ryan knocks Rolly tf out.
I would bet big on Rolly KOing Ryan. Ryan is terrible. Has no chin, no power, and no defense. He could easily lose his next fight against whatever plumber they dig up to face him next.
Ryan has more power than Tank. Ask Fonseca. And since when did Rolly become the pinnacle of defence and chin? He comes at Ryan and he gets KTFOd.
Davis' chance against Loma comes from the fact that Loma comes straight at him. I actually have a feeling Loma would try and fight how he did against Lopez, but minus the injury. What Davis' handlers need to pray for is a Haney win next week. Haney is winnable fight for Tank; coz Tank doesn't have to worry about any sort of power. And Haney doesn't seem to be remotely tough enough to take Tank dogwalking and I doubt he has the skill to overcome it all night. Tank has always been good at capitalising on lapses of judgement. Kambosos on the other hand is awful for him. He IS tough enough to take the shots Tank will inevitably land. Look at the issues Tank had with Barrios and Santa Cruz; now with Rolly 's length and workrate. Kambosos would outwork Tank from a distance and overcome any adversity IMO. Very, very bad match up for Davis. Shakur seems to be a mixture of the two above. Just all-round awful for Tank, if he can hold a good shot.
Ryan’s power is overrated. Once he steps up in comp it’ll disappear like Keith Thurman’s did. The only thing he really has is hand speed.
It took Tank eight rounds of battering to get a sloppy stoppage over Fonseca. It took Ryan less than two minutes to knock him the fuck out. It also didn't take Ryan twelve rounds to stop any glass jawed, one legged, 37 year old featherweights. Davis STILL hasn't actually stopped anyone as good as Campbell. Ryan hits harder than Davis.
Can’t believe we are talking of Ben Simmons…he is an Instagram fighter…he’s not fighting anyone worth a damn. Not Loma…Shakur…Teo…Tank..Kambosos..Haney. hell he won’t even fight Rolly… If Tank had pushed him off the stage he would’ve fake an injury…I have no faith in that bitch. *Ryan can fight….he’s just a bitch is all…
