There is something fundamentally wrong with saying Roger Mayweather had the best chin, in comparison with anyone.

    Augie Sanchez...damn...good call Reed.

That guy was "Discombobulating" at every opportunity.

I don't think JJ was glass jaw, but he was deffo chinny.

Grants jaw wasn't bedrock but he wasn't chinny:nono:

Norris got bombed out by massive punchers. He was chinny, for sure, but he could take it and come back: see Troy Waters.

Junior Jones: chinny but not fine china either.

Hurtado....maybe. Kostya Tszyu had him going with a headshot but Hurtado rallied and it was bodyshots that did for him. That said Pea did KO Hurtado so maybe he was fine china after all.

    Roger....don't know.:dunno:

There's a heavyweight named China Smith that looks like a world beater by his physique... His name suits him however.

as an anouncer once said after he was knocked out for the second time by the same fighter:

    China Smith

    China Chin...

That's retarded, just like everything else you post. Judah's only been knocked out once. Eric Crumble was 0-31 with 31 losses coming by knockout. He never saw the third round of a professional boxing match, except as a spectator.

He got knocked down a lot, but he always got up. He only got knocked out by Ali, Liston and Johanssen. Ezzard Charles was a better fighter, but his chin was at least as bad.

Charles took Rocky's haymakers for 15 rounds and he didn't go anywhere.
Charles was a blown up lightheavy, and he also took some punishing shots from Louis.

He had a lot of heart, and he was good at small defensive moves.

As has already been posted, "worst chin" is different from a fighter we've all seen and some tomato can who can't take any shot.

I'm a Norris fan as most people know, but i'll never try to say he had a good chin. I think his lack of punch resistance gets exaggerated at times, but nonetheless it was certainly a weakness.

Out of the "big names" a lot of have been mentioned.

    I would add:

    Tommy Morrison

Hearns had a fine chin, and Shavers's problem was conditioning.

Anthony Mundine got knocked out by Sven Ottke. That means that he has the worst chin of any top-10 fighter in the past 30 years.

Punch was to the temple. Although his chin isn't all too hot...still, he went 12 with Kessler, Green and Echols...went down a grand total of zero times.

He ran more than Corey Stinks in May against Echols. That was an absolutely disgraceful effort.

Hearns didnt have a glass chin. Thats a myth. At 160 yeah he was a bit chinny, but give him a pass on that cause he got taken out by huge punches from Hagler & Barkley. At 147 & 154 Tommy's chin was decent. He took alot of punishment in the Leonard fight, if his chin was glass he'd have been gone from that left hook in round 6.

He was a bit chinny at every weight. Whenever he got hit hard, he held on, of was on rubber legs. It wasn't Oulette territory, but it was not the beard of an elite fighter and its what separated him from Duran, Hagler and Leonard, IMO.

Clifford Etienne. I swear every single time I saw him fight he fell a couple of times. First time I saw him was against Oquendo I think Oquendo droped him 5-7 times.

He didn't have a great chin but balance seemed to be Tommy's biggest problem. I can't remember which fight it was (think it was Leonard 1) but I watched Tommy circling the ring and he tripped over his own feet AND the bottom rope. He was a bit clumsy.
