REED Actually LIKES what he's Seen Out of Froch Thus Far, but he's Still More of an ENIGMA than Anything Else...He Seems to Possess a Bit of "Boxing" Skill but to WHAT Degree???...He's NOT Slow, but How Quick is he REALLY???...He's Certainly Not a Powder Puffer N the Punch Category but How HARD does he REALLY Hit???...

:nono: Calzaghe can actually punch properly when he decides to, I get the impression he's deceptively strong with deceptively heavy hands, even Roy said 'his punches hurt more than I thought they would',...but where Calzaghe 'appears to be quick' ...it's due to the fact that he constantly moves his feet, his body, and his head when he boxes,..he skips in and out and is ultra buisy,...he's got stamina to burn, his handspeed though,.. is not fast,..I've never understood what people were seeing,.. Calzaghe and Kessler actually had a trade off early,.. and Joe was blown into the ropes,.. Kessler had quicker hands, ESPECIALLY over the course of 4 to 8 punches.... he's like a 'springbok' amongst your regular cheetahs who retain more speed over 2 to 3 (like Chad Dawson, and Jermaine Taylor),.. Calzaghe,..is just buisy, he 'flurries' frequently... but he's not quick,...not even 'snake strike' quick with single shots like.. Wlad's left hook,.. or Hopkins straight right, for example... Id rank Calzaghe below Taylor, Hopkins, Kessler, Dawson, Mundine and Pascal,.. just off the top of my head for fighters in and around his former divisions... though ofcourse as you can see by 'Mundine and Pascal'.. just because you have fast hands,..it doesnt make you a good fighter. Calzaghe is a great fighter,..he's a thinking fighter, a master boxer on a 100 ppr engine,..who would beat everybody mentioned bar prime Roy, Chad, who's a cruiserweight, and Wlad who's a giant.

:nono: Im not knocking Calzaghe as a fighter, just because his handspeed is drastically overrated, he's still an all-time great.

 

I just put two and two together,.. Hopkins shivered like a bitch for 9 rounds,.. THEN Jermaine looked as if he were being weighed down by a ship anchor,.. I think the bat in the tennis ball container had a little something to do with both,.. for as we know... Hopkins is usually an exciting offensive monster which is why he's so loved and respected ofcourse,.. but he shrank like a scared mortal, as if there was an alien auror of hindu mythology in the cage with him that escaped from the temple, as a muslim it seized Hopkins into a deep freeze of disbelief,..and because Hopkins is such a master with 'all the tricks in the book' "spells" too,.. I seriously doubt that Taylor only moving to the 'fringe' of Hopkins operating zone, could unravel Hopkins entire game of pre-meditated pot and trap wizardry?,.... Nah,...I like to think that Hopkins was scared of the alien popping out of Jermaine's belly, Hopkins has never been regarded as an over glorified, contemptuous, rule breaking bitch, and we're not about to start now :nono: .

Strangely, it happened just like I said- Taylor toyed with Froch early and he went for broke late. JT gassed worse than anyone could have every imagined though, and Froch pulled it out.
