Not really. He is losing, but these guys are fighting like impotent old men. JT is landing 10 punches and Lacy 2. Lacy is taking the shots flush. He is getting stopped if this keeps up.
good round for lacy. that ratheaded fuck cole needs to break them up more efficiently when taylor clutches
dsimon writes: Nonsense Lacy is just wearin Taylor out so he can fight him for the draw. Left hook will soon be using the patented punch which is his namesake.... as he looks up from the canvas!
bOTH guys are chinny. LOl at you jerkoffs that thought JT would be competitive with Joe Calaghe or Kessler. Kessler would stop either with ease.
Lacy's left hook is gone. It is sad. It is like seeing Randy Johnson rear up and fire a fast ball of 72.
is ozell nelson to blame for the lack of fluidity how taylor throws the right hand? he looks like jason campbell tossing a pigskin
Seriously, he needs to take half steps and then plant his front foot even if to push back. He is just falling in and falling in when he is thowing.
Jt is winning ever round. Not dominating really, but clearly. It is 10-1 Jt right now. JT is close to carrying him.
lacy should rematch manfredo in rhode island. i'm not even sure if taylor can beat bika. as expected, this is a dull fight.
I think this would have been a fantastic fight if they were strangers. It is hard to fight your friends.
looks like haymon/watson got their hooks into taylor. as if he didn't have enough juice with hbo already
i dont think that's the case. taylor just not that good of an offensive fighter nor is he a good puncher. i mean, he punches hard enough to get his opponents' attention, but he doesn't follow through. lacy, at the very least is tough and durable but he clearly isn't the same as he was prior to calzaghe. allan green would be a suitable fight for taylor. i read that he looked very dull against an ancient carl daniels.
dsimon writes: I have not seen this fight but it sounds like Lacy is shot. It is a shame if Taylor is also shot. What Ike said about footwork is true with taylor... he is hardly alone but one of a number of guys who simply cannot use their feet at all in the ring. If JT settled down and had his weight where it should be on his punches I still maintain he would be a KO guy.
