i'd like to see taylor vs. wright II in either AC or vegas.

i'm sure it's not a walk in the park for wright to make 160 these days and it's not like he'd get paid more fighting abraham in germany.

I'd hate to see an older, inactive wright take a clear cut L to taylor at a higher weight that hardly suits him. he should aim for a pavlik fight at 60

Hmm... good point. Certainly a safer fight for Joe than getting his 0 taken away by Bad Chad.

But fuck that... I rather see Kessler-Taylor. Joe would just kick Taylor's ass for 12 rounds. Kessler would put JT on his back.

Allan Green is fuckin garbage! Always has been, always will be. He's a step DOWN from Lacy.

I rather see Taylor fight Bika.

This is true. How do you see Taylor-Hopkins III playing out, at 170?

....was Froch-Pascal mentioned on the broadcast at all?....it was a WBC eliminator tonight right?.....he should go for that winner and build toward a unification with Kessler

He probably dont want it with Kessler. None seems interested in fighting Kessler, except Dawson. Hopkins dont want it with Kessler, Pavlik didnt want it with Kessler, and Calz dont want it with Kessler again.

Mikkel is probably the most avoided fighter in the sport at the moment, and for good reason.

Agreed. Like I said before, I think JT would be mildly competitve for the first few rounds. But by the middle rounds Kessler would begin to take over, and in the late rounds JT would get KTFO.

:nono: All you Aunt Jemima's may surl and scrunch your cucumbers for all that you will, but Taylor is on the bend, inch by inch..:nono: a shut-out over one of Calzaghe's best wins will suffice for now,...but it wont be long before he's metamorphed back into his skull busting best, the jab is on it's way, aint nobody getting past that piece of medievil pincery when it returns.

stop with that Calzaghe-Kessler rematch talk....there has been enough of that crap over the last week

.....if Taylor wants to be recognised as the champ at 168 he'll have to go through Kessler.....i am not a Taylor fan....and in the ring he can be too negative....but i don't think he deliberately sets out to avoid opponents (Hopkins rematch, Pavlik rematch...and former holder of most avoided title Winky Wright)....he'll fancy the Kessler fight...Dibella may not be so confident

Honestly, I know many of my fellow Yankees think in the back of their jingoistic hearts that JT has a chance.

Kessler will stop him with ease. If Joe were near 49 victories, I mean to get to Rocky's record he'd have to fight 4 times and that IMO is too many. If Joe just wants some easy cash he should fight JT.

I think Kessler might beat Dawson.

Its nice that you like and believe in Taylor so much, but the truth is he's just not very good, and never will be.

Calz, and Kessler would give him the business. I'm not even sure JT would beat Bute, and its no guarantee he'd beat Andrade, or Bika either.

He'll beat that bum Froch though.

Exactly. JT is not very good. I actually like him unlike you. I like Lacy more but he is an overacheiver and he is just a dumb hick from Arkansas.

Neither one is too bright. But tonight Lacy made Taylor look Ray Leonard with the boxing brains of Floyd. Now THATS saying alot about how dumb Lacy is.

Lol. Lacy is the Corky of boxing champions. Lacy makes Mayorga and Gatti look like Pernell Whitaker.

I think Lacy should take up a career as Avon Barksdale's (from The Wire) stunt double

I didn't realize it was this far gone. He never had a chance without that punch.
