I think tomorrow night will answer that.

Hatton was a level above Ramirez as a fighter, so if Josh loses to Ramirez or goes life and death with Ramirez, then it's unlikely he could handle a prime Hatton.

If he destroys Ramirez, might be a different story. Hatton didn't do well against southpaws.

I don't know that guy, but he did something that all physically scared people do, he acted like he was really intent on listening hard to what Taylor was saying, the way he cocked his head, so attentive.

In fact, he wanted out of there.

 

I love Taylor's mean streak personally. It's obviously meant to get in his opponent's head but he believes in himself and you know he's coming to fight every single time.

 

I did think Ramirez was shook initially but having seen more interviews I just think he's an uncomfortable talker. Wouldn't read too much into it.

 

I love Josh. Have done for years now. I prefer Prograis, but I only started to like Regis through his interactions before and after their fight. Josh has a likeable arrogance about him in general life, and a loveable mean streak that comes out at fight week. Bit like Morales. Not to mention having a really fun style and clearly wanting to fight the best.

I'm no psychologist, just making an observation that Ramirez sounded more sure of himself going into the Hooker fight.

Do I think it'll affect the way he fights? No. I expect him to attack Taylor w/the same vigor that he attacked Hooker, Imam, ect.

 

Getting down to the actual fight, I think a big factor is gonna be physical strength. If Ramirez proves to be stronger, and pushes Josh back, then he's got a shot, and Taylor will have to use his skill to win.

If Taylor is able to bull Ramirez back, then Ramirez is in deep shit.

 

Taylor looks like a slim, fit guy. Not a strong boy by any stretch.

 

Then again........Calzone looked weak but he was strang like ox.

 

I heard it isn't gonna be shown in the UK, and Taylor was pissed about that.
