The post-weigh-in push in the lobby was too much, and at this point Taylor is trying too hard to be a tough guy.

The whole getting in Ramirez's face and talking shit at the weigh-in is customary amongst fighters, but after that just chill and go to your room like a professional.

Bradley thinks Taylor is expending too much of his energy pre-fight while Ramirez is just keeping his cool.

Its not changing my prediction, I'm still backing Taylor, but tonight sure as Hell is gonna be interesting.

 

Bradley and Ward dont like Taylor, so expect very pro-Ramirez commentary from ESPN tonight.

Man taylor is acting like such a try-hard, hopes he gets koed

 

He does this before every fight. The only thing that sets this apart was the shove in the lobby, which is overdoing it.

Like I said, I have zero issue with getting up in a dude's face during the weigh-in staredown, but after that conduct yourself like a pro and wait for the next day.

Brawling in the lobby leaves open the possibility of one of em getting injured... then no fucking fight.

 

Looking ahead, Taylor's trash talk is gonna piss off Crawford enough to bring out the best (and meanest) in Crawford.

So Taylor's mouth probably doesn't get him in trouble tonight, but its gotta get him a beating against Bud.

 

Exactly. A fight was cancelled not long ago in the ufc cause of a shove.at the weight in. It can have unfortunate consequences. Though to be honest, taylor shove was very very light

All the more reason to root for Taylor tonight.

Crawford-Taylor would develop into bad blood, though they seem to respect eachother now... that will change given Taylor's mouth.

Crawford-Ramirez would have a boring lead-up, and the fight itself would be one sided.

 

The Blazers v Nuggets Game 1 is at 10:30, hence why Taylor-Ramirez is starting early.

My concern is this... if Taylor-Ramirez isn't over by 10:30 on the dot, will they switch it over to ESPN2 for the game?

Because they should do the opposite. Start the Blazers-Nuggets game on ESPN2 if there's a conflict.

Cause I know ESPN would never prioritize boxing over the NBA.
