It very well could be an easier fight for Floyd. That is why people fight though, to find that out.

I'm sick of Floyd and his "He's not worthy of sharing a ring with me" attitude. It is just ridiculous.

What I don't get is how fans of Floyd defend this type of shit. Seriously, how can anyone be a fan of this guy when it's obvious he's done challenging himself and he's just out to make some coin. Are you fans of boxing at all or just fans of Floyd the person?

I'm a fan of Floyd the fighter. But, since he is more entertainer now than boxer I've moved on. I'm concentrating more on guys like Raf, JMM, Izzy, Pac, Cotto, Margarito, Pavlik, Guerrero, etc....If boxing was producing a bunch of shitty fights maybe I would care more.

Good to see there some actual fight fans still out there. Sadly, it doesn't seem to be the case for the majority of Floyd's fans.

it doesn't matter if people claim to be a fan of mayweathers or not. why or why not is irrelevant also

you can criticize what he or his team says, bottom line is you will be watching his next fight. and the one after that.

He's not as important as a rematch with Hatton, that's for sure.

Dude, U're a PROFESSIONAL COMPLAINER as it Pertains to Floyd...N a NEGATIVE Way, YOU Actually Care MORE about Floyd than REED Does...

REED HASN'T "Defended" ANY of Floyd's Shit...REED has Made it CLEAR that he Thinks Floyd-Cotto WILL Happen...

    No More, No Less...

Oh I'll watch them, as soon as I can see them for free. I sure as hell won't be paying 50 bucks to see a glorified sparring session.

You've defended everything Floyd has done for years REED. Don't give me that malarky!

I am not negative, all I ask as a fan is to see the so called best prove it. Why is that too mcuh to ask?

But Cotto-Mosley reportedly did over 400,000.

What exactly were Hatton's best ppv numbers before last December?

BTW I agree with Emmanuel Stewart. I think the way Cotto can lure PBF to a fight is by calling him out or cursing him the fuck out in a post fight interview.

Too bad Cotto won't do that. I think he's made it clear he is willing to fight Floyd though. He did say "I can't force him to fight me" about Mayweather when asked about it.

Here's a question: Who is better for the sport?

PBF with his brash, disrespectful (least in public), and arrogant demeanor.

    or

Cotto with his quiet, respectful (least in public), and arrogant demeanor.

    Huh???:dunno:

N this VERY Thread, REED Said "99% of what Floyd Says is BULLSHIT"....

CLEARLY, U're NEGATIVE...U ALWAYS FIND an Angle to BITCH about, as it Pertains to Floyd...& That's YOUR Prerogative, just DON'T Deny it, Dog...

Like REED Said, Floyd vs Cotto WILL Happen...MARK REED's Words...& if it DOESN'T, REED'll B the 1st to CRITICIZE Floyd...

You can't change your tune in one thread and act like the last few years never happened.

I don't hate Floyd, and I wouldn't have anything to complain about if he would just go ahead and fight the best fighters out there. I said ALL of this same stuff about Roy until he got his slice of humble pie from Tarver. I just can't stand when a potentially GREAT fighter doesn't even care to prove just how good he is. I know you have to agree with me there.

I hope Oscar knocks his ass out. He'd deserve it just for making that damn fight a second time.

What would you rather see, DLH knock out Mayweather or Forbes knock out DLH?

It would be nice if Oscar lands a hail mary and puts PBF to sleep!

Oscar KO Floyd. I'd love for his stupid no risk, huge reward plan to backfire on his cocky ass.

don't mind Oscar fighting Forbes so much because it doesn't mean anything to the sport. Floyd on the other hand is in his prime and should be adding to his legacy not chasing Oscar.

I would love for that to happen. Nothing personal against Floyd, I think he is a great fighter but he is wasting his prime with this crap and robbing us fans of some actual quality fights.

Floyd said on ESPN that he would love to fight Cotto. He also said that he needed to leave Bob Arum to make it happen.

Floyd is basically doing what Cotto is doing when either guy is mentioned to the other.

I repeat. It is MIGUEL COTTO that needs to beat the drums for this fight. He's gotta be the one that tells Bob Arum "Make the fight happen, or I'm gone."

I don't remember Cotto ever trying to say Mayweather "wasn't important" and last I recall Cotto said "I can't make him fight me" When asked about the fight.

Cotto is a very respectful guy, he shouldn't have to resort to that to get a fight. His career thus far speaks for itself. If Mayweather wants to act like he's blind and cotto isn't the obvious fight to be made, that's his fault. The fans see right through it though, at least I do.
