No, no, I understood you were referring to Jhonny - and so was I in my posts. I just incidentally mentioned that Lopez was one of my favorite lesser-knowns. Why I did that right out of the blue, I'll never know. ::
ok gotcha. should've figured that was the case :: I've always liked both fighters as well, even though Lopez sent my homeboy (Lonnie Bradley) back into retirement, and in very brutal fashion.
I liked that fight. Sorry. :: Lopez was also the first one to beat Ravelo, a prospect I liked.
^^^ yep. THAT ONE, I liked a lot. Never liked Ravelo, nothing really personal, just thought he was always absurdly overrated, even by NY prospect standards
Lopez was the man. I have rarely enjoyed a on sided beating as much as the one he dealt out to Kirino Garcia. Just a shame he falls to shit when he gets tagged.
Which Zuniga was it that knocked him out on HBO Latino? That was an incredible fight, and in Lopez' home away from home (desert diamond).
Fulgencio. AWESOME fight. It's weird b/c Lopez had those KO losses early in his career....but then later he went 11 with Zuniga trading furious leather, beat Fernando Zuniga, Garcia, Ravelo, Mendoza, etc.
