Terminator: Dark Fate

´7.5/10´

T2 is clearly an attempt at comedy

T2: Judgement Day was on during the week and I caught the last 25mins of it and fuck, is it embarrassing now - just horrible.

Wheras the original still holds up

Lb is my boy but he has a very strange taste in film.

Well it’s not as bad as trying to watch Commando unless of course you take it as a comedy or a spoof film.

Saw this now. Not nearly as bad as the critics said and easily better than the last one (Genesis?) but of course adds nothing valuable to the original two. 6/10

The movie has bombed so bad that has put the final nail in the coffin of this franchise. He/She will NOT be back.

7 Reasons ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ Was A Box Office Disaster

It was good. I’m not going to sit in this thread trying to defend the film when many here also shat all over the sequel which was a very good film.

the movie is ok, albeit a bit whacky

did they have to make it that Arnold had a family? wtf
they could have just made it that he finished his mission and then sat in a cave for 20 years

I thought he explained it to a point it made sense. Even after completing his mission his programming made it where he needed a purpose and meeting and taking care of the family became his purpose. I thought the fact he borderline grew a conscious about killing John was a much bigger problem.

Anyway, I’ve rewatched this film a couple more times which is more than I can say about Genisis and Salvation which IMO is by far the worst of the entire franchise. So I stand by my opinion and review of this film that it was pretty darn good.
