Terry Norris vs Jaron Ennis

Based on how Ennis has looked at 154 do you think he would have been able to handle Norris’ speed, power and skills? He certainly has the power to stop him but he’s also shown that he can also be hit as well.

 

I like Boots. Dont really care for Norris. However, I'd take Terry by stoppage. Boots is too leaky defensively. Terry could be spotty on defense as well, but at least Terry did a better job of keeping his hands at home. Norris was also a more versatile technician.

I'm not under any false illusions about Boots. He's good -- for THIS era.

He'd be getting his shit rocked back when Norris, then Trinidad and Vargas were at 154.

 

I know Boots is 100x better than Troy Waters, but I think in my mind that's what this fight would turn into

 

I would argue that even a 35-year-old Leonard was a better fighter than Zayas.
