Come on Choke he never said that.... And what evidence to the contrary? The weigh in and on was fishy. VEgas is a place of insiders and Oscar threw shit it was fishy at the very least and it is not unreasonable to consider the possability of a fix.

There was not one "go for broke" rally toward the end, either. That is 99% standard for beatdowns where no knockdowns are scored.

this well known former champ obviously had the foresight to realize carlos, being in the vaunted bellagio poker room, clearly had the discretion to keep hush his identity.

Golden Boy is claiming a stake in Manny Pacquiao fights?

Golden Boy has filed a lawsuit against Top Rank in the United States District Court in Nevada alleging that they were defrauded out of millions of dollars of revenues from Manny Pacquiao’s fights against David Diaz, Miguel Cotto, and Joshua Clottey. Top Rank has denied the charges.

You unearth a two-year old thread just to post two-day old news that's already being discussed elsewhere on page one of GD.

Absolutely brilliant - especially the part where you're just now finding out that GBP has had a minority share of Pacquaio's career (for the past three years, no less).

as far as the fight goes, I don't know of the fix was in or not, but certainly I wouldn't see why not. Nobody will hold it against DLH's legacy because he was waaaay past his prime. They get a share of Manny, and DLH pockets a shit load of money. I bet his thinking was "I've given them plenty of amazing fights, this one is to secure my fortune".

Could Pacquiao beat DLH in his prime. I doubt it.

DLH looked like Morales and other fighters look like when they lost to much weight and are really to old to be trying to do it. Your reflexes are shot. You can see the punches coming but can't do much about it. You just say to yourself, it's over. Just think of Chavez vs. Tszyu. Leonard vs Norris. Duran vs. Jooppy.
